I booked 2 nights and ended up staying 3. The room was clean and comfortable with an excellent shower. The huge advantage is the pub and food. The meals are like home cooking and are a great value. The pub is well equipped and i also enjoyed the music selection. Lynn was so friendly and prepared excellent breakfasts and gave a hug when i checked out 😁. Really makes you feel welcome

The listing says parking but its street parking. Im on a motorcycle so parking in the sidewalk wasn't a problem. The room does have a smell of smoking but its a pub and offers such good value, i cant complain and still give a perfect 10. I'm only offering info for others to understand.

Where do I start? I booked an en-suite room due to medical reasons and need the toilet. Durring the night once we got our room it wasn't en-suite and was advised it had a private bathroom just round the corner from the room. I had no choice but to take it as the en-suite was double booked. That was bad enough but about 12.30 am someone wanted into our room and he was banging on the door and shouting to get in. He eventually left but realy shock up my step son and I didn't sleep great due keeping an ear open incase he came back. The during the night my head board fell down. When I got up in the morning I was going to have a shower and there was no hot water no mater I tried also no hot water in the sink so had to get washed in cold water. Not what you need after a long night with not much sleep. I had know way of contacting anybody to complain about this as no management around apart from the lady (sorry can't remember her name) who cooked the breakfast it was delicious but I just wanted to leave was realy pissed of as didn't get what I paid for. I hope the staff see this and contact me back as looking for some compensation for every that went wrong. But I doubt they will.

Absolutely lovely stuff renata was very accommodating showing me around I believe its Billy the owner was lovely enough to offer me breakfast even though it wasn't on my booking, and Lynn was lovely and kind in the mornings and Juliettes food was amazing. All stuff are very accommodating and make you feel very welcome 😊😊.

Paid for a poor oily breakfast. The location of the premises is very poor. It is in the vicinity of several breakers' yards.

Staff were incredible, I forgot the other names but Lyn was lovely!

The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, made us all feel super welcome. Brother happy as beer at a good price and served till late. Rooms good value for money, warm and clean. Food all freshly cooked, very nice and again reasonably priced. Chatted to other guests who all really enjoyed the hotel.

To be picky, the beds were a bit soft and one of the rooms when my mother turned over in bed the bathroom light sensor went on. Nothing to grumble about, it added to our experience, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
