Very Good Breakfast. Excellent location with underground parking at reasonable cost. Comfortable beds.

Executive room was too small for two people. Shower in the bathtub not very comfortable to use.

My comfortable, spacious, quiet room had all the expected features of 3-star accommodation. But the hotel’s peaceful location makes it special: the Kongress sits beside the river, a very pleasant, ten-minute walk (along a tree-lined walkway) from the central area of Bamberg’s old city — quite convenient, as it turned out. It was nice to return here from the sometimes crowded streets downtown. On a Saturday night this was a welcome retreat.

Only one of the room windows opens, and only slightly. This was typical of all rooms as far as I could see.

Room and breakfast were excellent plus accessibility to the city centre

Nice location - very quiet and just 10 minutes walking time from the city center. Pretty large rooms with a seating corner and a desk. Awesome breakfast. Cheap & large parking garage.

Two single beds, but we knew it when we booked it, so it's ok.

I enjoyed the breakfast. It was diverse and components indicated quality. There was just a little queue at the coffee machine. The room was fine, certainly very quiet, nothing spectacular in furnishing, but comfortable and convenient. The garage is big and convenient also for big cars, provided they don't exceed 2m altitude - but there's also a few spots outdoors.

Some other's hair on the hairdryer, a rather weak hairdryer, a little bit of rust where the water leaves the shower - nothing major, but at that price, I'm a little more sensitive.

The food was good, nice variety and tasty.

Two seperate beds instead of one big bed. (Was staying alone but like big beds.)

Breakfast buffet was quite nice and the rooms were around the 3 star status.

Outside on the terrace was uncomfortale and done on the cheap. On Friday night we had to leave the terrace because they closed at 10:30pm. Pity really because up until then we were having a nice time there along with another group of customers. I've never heard of Friday early closing at hotel biergarten.

spacious room, well managed, attentive and friendly staff. We have the room with the river view, so beautiful.

To get to the hotel is a little confusing, since we didn’t know the place well and the bus that goes to the hotel doesn’t run frequently.

The hotel was in a quite location on the river just a 10 minute walk from the main town centre. There was a good buffet breakfast and all staff were friendly and helpful.

For the price I would have expected tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
