Perfect hotel and location to stay at in this tiny little fjord town!

Location was within easy walking distance to train station and everything else in town. Nice to have a restaurant and bar onsite. Room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast had a very nice variety of food.

Breakfast was amazing - it was included and was the best meal I've had in norway tbh The room was nice, location was good Felt like the staff could have been more helpful with activities around the area.

Excellent central location, short walk from the train station although a bit on a hike. Although not too spacious but the room was clean, cozy and had everything we needed including an electric kettle with supplies of tea and coffee, 2 arm chairs, a coffee table and a desk to work on with good lighting. The bed was comfy. Plus we had a cool view of the fjord, mountain range and gondolas coming up and down at a distance. The included hot and cold breakfast was of good quality served at the spacious restaurant. We especially liked the fresh vegetables and fruits as well as the plant-based milks to eat with muesli. Friendly reception.

Hot chocolate in the room. More options for healthy breakfast such as nuts, seeds, dried fruits.

The beds and linens were amazing. Best nights sleep in our trip so far.

The restaurant was a little understaffed. Guests were waiting a long time for service even though the staff were working as quickly as possible. It was a public holiday so maybe it’s better on other days.

Needed a place to sleep during a 30-hour drive. Grand Hotel did the job quite satisfactory. Laid on a nice breakfast buffet even though there weren't too many guests. Staff were forthcoming and agreeable.

I had a nice experience and the hotel was nice. It was historical, clean and the breakfast buffet was well. However, I had dinner on my first day and I had a dish called fish from the fjord. I got food poisoning because of It. Even I would recommend the hotel for everyone, I wouldn't suggest eating dinner there...

View from the room was amazing. They let us into our room super early when we arrived on the bus expecting to store only our bags for the day but they had a room for us then.

The central location to town and all of its amenities was perfect. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of options as well. I would comeback here. on my next trip to Andalsnes.

friendly staff, had a good laugh about the mystery fish of the day. comfortable bed. wifi in my room was functional but it was more responsive downstairs in the lobby. (comfortable couches there). the nespresso machine with capsules in the room was a nice touch.

in my 1-person room the bathroom was very small, it had a shower cabin that just obstructed any movement.

The Breakfast was first class and was everything in this hotel. Perfectly located just off the main thoroughfare. The staff was very helpful with sightseeing and eating suggestions. There is a restaurant there but there was a big function going on. This is the best hotel in the Andalsnes area and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. The room and bed were very comfortable and bigger than most European hotels.

All the rooms faced the parking lot and it was hot out so when i opened the window for the cool night air one could hear all the noise coming from the parking lot - especially from the guests attending the big event at this hotel
