Great location right on the ocean with nice view towards the horizon. If you want to hike, the path starts right across the road.

You have to consider that your travel to town is limited to public buses or car. On weekends the buses run quite seldom and you need a taxi to get to the airport in the morning.

Magnificent views of the fjord from the huge deck and comfortable sitting room. Good communication from the owner and helpful service and advice. we’ll equipped kitchen would further benefit from having a microwave. excellent WiFi connectivity despite reports to the contrary from others

It’s a little difficult to reach by public transport, requiring a local bus or taxi. As others have mentioned and the site advises, the steep steps to the property can be a challenge, so just something to be aware of and prepared for - it’s worth it for the lovely seaside location.

Cottage and terrace are very nice. I just think the septic tank was a little full when we arrived, because it smelled like urine.

Again the accommodation and view is fine, but I think one should be honest with the pictures. Because what you do not see is that around the terrace/house is really a mess (which will not be visible in winter due to snow). Also absolutely not very safe for children; we were with young children. Beer cans, glass, loose power lines, trash everywhere, holes in the terrace, stairs broken and the parking lot where you can hardly park 1 car is very unsafe. If the owners would do something about this you would have a wonderful place. Furthermore, the house could be a bit cleaner; cooking utensils were quite dirty. Because of the insecurity I give therefore a low rank

Before us, there stayed white dog, we could see white hairs almost everywhere. Actually no big deal, but… Tips: take your own water, from the tap is not possible to drink

Fantastic view, just by the sea.

Car has to be parked at the side of a major road. Had to carry our luggages down a long and steep staircase from the road to the apartment. Bedrooms are on the upper floor but the only toilet is on the ground floor - need to climb up and down the spiral staircase at night to use the washroom. Bunk bed makes creaking sound when one toss. Cleaning can be improved.

Difficult to go down all these stairs with the baggages. Also there was a bad smell probably from the sewage disposal.

Location direct on the fjord with a beautiful terrace was stunning and waking up with a view of the fjord was unique. Very well equipped and comfortably furnished. Communication and key handover was pleasant and uncomplicated.

Water pressure was a little low so the dishwasher didn't work. Upstairs bedrooms a bit cramped and narrow.

What a great decking with views out. We got to eat out (with the use of a couple of blankets). The beds were comfy. Note there are solid steps down and spiral stairs so not suitable for limited mobility although there is a rail and bench half way. My son got to paddle in the water as the tide went out. So stylish and well equipped. The host has really thought about what is placed in here.

Nothing as it was one of our best stays in Norway

The property is literally located on the waterfront - kids went down the stairs to dip in the water. The view is fantastic - nothing beats watching the sea directly from your bedroom windows. The area outside the house itself is amazing - we enjoyed hours chatting and eating outside under the open skies, watching and smelling the fresh water... Michael the host is super nice, extremely attentive, and highly responsive. All in all - this was a terrific experience that I highly recommend!

The only reason we gave it 9 and not a perfect 10 is that it requires parking the car at the side of a main road and walking down a spooky flight of 90 stairs to get to the house itself... when we packed and unpacked it meant 3*90 stairs... Well, I guess it compensated for the workouts I missed due to the vacation - but I'm not sure this is for everyone... :-) Also, rooms are a bit smallish, but that's not a big issue in my opinion.

It's all about that fantastic location. View the Hurtigruten and all the big liners directly in front of your breakfast table. The owner is really friendly and cares for any issues.

Could have been a bit cleaner.

The accommodation is situated at a beautiful location at the water. You constantly keep looking out for passing boats and fishes. The house is well equipped and beds are comfortable.

There are some minuses: - Our neighboring guests (a group of men) were partying long after midnight. This really disturbed our first night of sleep there and took our pleasure away a little in this accommodation. Since you are really close to the neighboring guests (the terrace is only separated by a little wall) and the appartment is not well sound-isolated, you are in a very unfortunate position if you have guests like these next to you. We contacted the owner the next day, but we were not offered any compensation for our lack of sleep. The only thing we got was that the other guests were warned about their misbehavior. - The house really needs some repair and updates. For example, the stair railing is wobbly and unsafe. The outside stairs has a broken step. Hangers on the walls in the bathroom are not well attached. Shower door is broken. Air ventilation in the bathroom needs cleaning and bathrooms need a deep clean to remove rust stains which have turned green. - Water taps do not have a high pressure. The same goes for the shower where there is only a small stream. - The care needs to be parked just next to the road. For people traveling with kids, this is a bit hazardous since you have to walk a few meters next to the road to reach the stairs that go down to the accommodation.

The safety of the stairs down to the property and the spiral staircase inside - they are not safe.

The best place to stay in the area you can imagine. The way is breathtaking. It’s like you are steering a ship. When the weather is nice you will love to stay only on that amazing terrace.

There is still some work to be done in the kitchen. Some mess around the house decreases the feeling of absolute beauty.

Amazing and quiet view over the water!

Fantastic apartment by the sea, with big windows and modern decoration. We were lucky enough to have good weather to enjoy breakfast outside, and see some porpoises and northern lights. Linen and towels were provided, which is an excellent benefit compared to other Scandinavian accommodations. One downside to those with limited mobility or small children is that the apartment is down the cliff straight from the road, and one must go down three long, steep flights of steps to reach it. But it is well lit in the evening, and we even took the bus to the city. The communication with the host was quick and efficient. I'd definitely come back when I have visitors again.

Absolutely stunning location! The stairs down are numerous and steep, so definitely not for any but the sure-footed. Our 6 year old did fine but the 3 year old needed to be carried. Amazing views from all rooms, and you can hear the sea from the main bedroom and living room.

Some items in the apartment need repair. The towels weren't clean when we arrived, but the host was very responsive and is working on a new system for cleaning linens between stays.
