Friendly and helpful staff, large room overlooking the river, great breakfast and superb location.

Bathroom small with not enough shelves, hooks, or room to turn around. Worst part was the beds. You could visibly see sag when you entered the room. The spring were shot so your head and feet are elevated (on very thin pillows) while your hip is on concrete. Very uncomfortable beds
Beds!!!! That’s the ONE thing a room has to have!!

We liked especially the stuff, everybody helped us, warm . The breakfast was amazing. Location is fantastic. We enjoyed so much.

Enjoyed our meals and nice eating area. So handy for hiring out bikes. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating.
No air-con and we opened our window as the bedroom was very hot.

Breakfast was great with a good choice offered. We also had evening meals on the 2 nights they were available. Meals were good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean with basics offered. Nice café area within the property. Waterside is in a good position in the (small) town. Surrounding area beautiful with good walks. Great for a short break.
There were sheets and blankets on the bed which was strange in this day and age. Small double bed. Although windows double glazed didn't fit so wind howled through them. Doors didn't fit well so needed to slam them. Could hear next rooms clearly. Heating didn't work in our room and we were given a mobile heater for the room. Luckily the weather was mild. Not much choice for food in the town; Chinese, pizzas or burger venues.

The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast was great. The room was large and had a big shower in the ensuite
The dinner was only from 6.30 to 7.30 I couldn't make it back for that time

Booking.com showed restaurant but failed to mention only open on weekends. There was nowhere to eat in the village except takeaway Chinese to be eaten in the room. The staff did provide cutlery but hard to eat sitting on a bed.

The property was good, but the town was shut up Monday to Wednesday during our stay. evening food options were only takeaway. which is a shame given the great location
