The price.

The toilet and shower were combined in a narrow room so the floor was wet throughout the night after showing. The basin for handwashing was on top of the toilet cistern (an integral part of it) so when cleaning your teeth you had to straddle the toilet bowl. There was no hot water at this basin.

the wetroom - after having a shower in the evening, I stepped on the very wet floor to get to the toilet at night. the people in the house were loud late at night and early in the morning. the shower hot water took for ever to happen

Checking in was very easy and the flexibility of no expected arrival time was great. Communication was excellent. The bed was comfortable. The Netflix access was an unusual extra which I really appreciate. The layout of the room, which was different from the pictures, worked very well. The access to the kitchen to make drinks was lovely as well. The kitchen was clean and well-presented. I think 9 is a very fair score despite the things I didn't like about the property.

The noise around the property was significant. Though earbuds were provided; however, I expected a bit more consideration in this regard for the guest. The shower was cold. I guess I needed to let it run for a significantly long time, but considering the cost of the waste, I had to endure a couple of days of cold showers. I'm sure if I spoke to the staff, this would have been sorted, but I chose not to. Having moved out of Birmingham a long time ago, the accommodation is closer to West Brom than Great Barr which confused me a little bit. Despite all the aforementioned dislikes, I would still recommend this facility. The little extras and touches make a very unique and appreciated difference to my experience.
