Our family of four found Fog and Stars to be well beyond our expectations. Clean, safe, comfortable lodging. Very short walking distance to Embarcadero for food and shopping. Cooked meals and enjoyed the patio with views of Morro Rock and the marina. Perfect location for staging our morning kayak tour. Dedicated parking spot. So much better to enjoy one’s vacation at Fog and Stars than at a crowded, noisy motel. Super Satisfied!

This was the perfect spot for our family. The place was clean, well equipped with linens (a concern for a big family) and centrally located. The owner was very responsive to questions. We’d love to return again in the future!

Quaint and cosy little apartment, fantastic location with a great view. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night on our stopover of the Big Sur drive, but I would highly recommend this apartment but anyone looking for a place to stay in Morro Bay. Davin was an extremely responsive and accommodating host! We had to change our dates several times due to change in plans, and Davin very quickly accommodated all our changes without any issues. Thank you so much for sharing your apartment with us!

Fog and Stars is a charming apartment (feels more like a cottage) close to downtown Morro Bay with tons of space to relax indoors and out on the deck. Parking was easy and nearby with one space assigned but many parking options on the street and parking lot directly across from the unit. The place itself is beautiful, impeccably clean and well-appointed with super comfortable beds. I can’t say enough positive and the host was easy to contact and response was immediate. I stayed there with just my daughter but the unit would accommodate larger parties easily. We couldn’t have asked for a more positive experience.

Just minutes - walking - from so much! Enjoy kayaking, shopping, eating … so much to do! The space was comfortable, clean, and inviting! Came for a wedding and stayed for everything else!

We loved staying in this inviting and spacious apartment. It’s the perfect location to enjoy the town; close to shops, cafes and restaurants. And Davin was a lovely host. Highly recommended.

What a gem! Ample free parking, walkable to the downtown and all the restaurants, easy to get in and out of, clean, amazing patio space, quiet… I could go on and on, but suffice to say, this is a great space and well worth checking out if you’re planning a stay in Morro Bay.

This property was one of my favorite VRBO stays of all time. It was spacious, had thoughtful amenities, a great manager and most of all an incredible view. We booked the property as a new rental and could not have been more pleased. The only thing missing was a hammock on the deck for an afternoon nap :) Can't wait to return!

This space was exactly what we had hoped for and even more. It was cozy, clean, and literally right next to every where you want to be in Morro Bay. The entire condo gave the best view of Morro Rock and the water and the back patio was the highlight. Anyone staying here will be more than pleased. Also big thanks to Davin for offering us his home and for the complimentary bottle of wine and snacks. 10/10

Davin provided my party with a complimentary bottle of wine and a goodie basket upon arrival. The unit is absolutely charming, thoroughly updated, and spotless. It is only blocks from the heart of Morro Bay and we walked to dinner, the rock, and the French Bakery. The view from the private patio is amazing, and the online photos do not do it justice. It is much more spacious than it looks online, and the queen beds are so comfy. There are plenty of fresh white towels, games, books, and a helpful binder which includes local restaurant menus. I recommend this gem to anyone, and I cannot wait to return!

The place was absolutely terrific (cleanliness, amenities, beds) and I will miss sitting on the patio mornings with coffee looking at the rock as the fog evaporates, evenings as the skies turns golden with the sunset and the stars start coming out. Davin was incredibly responsive. Thank you for a great family get together! I cannot recommend this place highly enough!
