Again, a beautiful, well equipped Victorian. It provided respite to our out of town guests attending a family reunion near-by. This hundred year old beauty is filled with turn of the century antiques, very much appreciated by our little group. Very Pleased!

This is our third time staying at Elizabeth’s property, it’s always been a wonderful experience. The house is incredibly ornate like the photos and Elizabeth is a great host!

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood

LOVED LOVED LOVED the house! From the decor to the room sizes. We each had our own comfortable bedrooms, with all the amenities needed. We especially LOVED the livingroom! It enabled us to cozy up and spend time catching up!
Would highly recommend this place. Close enough to restaurants, a winery and small town shopping.

Beautiful home in quiet town. Perfect accommodations for out of town family members. Plenty of room to cook, dine, and socialize together. Enjoyed relaxing on the expansive front porch, and a toasty gathering around the fire table in the evenings. Home was welcoming, clean, and artfully decorated with beautiful furnishings and attention to detail! Would definitely stay in this lovely home again!

Stayed at this home for a wedding in Chestertown. Very clean, beds were comfortable and enjoyed the unique decorating. Loved the big chair in the foyer. Highly recommend.

Lovely, clean property! Well stocked!

The house was very comfortable and perfect size for 4 of us. Only complaint is that most of the electrical outlets did not work. We made coffee and toast in the entry hall. Also the very strong smell from plug in deodorizers was overwhelming. The house was full of interesting stuff and a lot of character. It was very clean!

The rooms were very clean and the host was gracious—lovely part of Kent County.

The front bedroom window rattled intermittently all night such that it was impossible to sleep. This was not a result of the storm because that didn’t arrive until after 3 am. The house is lovely but pretty isolated.

Everything was easy and clean!

Attended a wedding at Brittland Manor which was close by. Spent the evening. Cozy home and clean. Unfortunately AC was not working properly upstairs but there were fans to help out some.

The home and property were gorgeous. Everything was lovely, from the comfortable furniture to the gorgeous fabrics used for windows and bedding. I’m so glad we stayed here!

We had a wonderful experience with this property and Elizabeth as a host. Everything was a smooth process, beautiful property, great location near the water and close to different towns. No concerns at all. Will be using the property again on future vacations.

The house is just beautiful and extremely clean. Elizabeth, the host, is very helpful and accommodating. My extended family and I were in town for another family member’s party in Rock Hall. We all had a fantastic time, and our only regret is that we couldn’t stay and enjoy the house longer. Highly recommend!

We checked in at 3:00. Headed to our family reunion. Got home at 10:30 pm. Everyone wanted to shower after a day of driving and meeting with cousins. There was no hot water. Tried contacting the host at 8:00 am the next morning. She finally responded at 12:10. The repair man came at 5:30pm. So no shower Saturday. No shower Sunday morning. We were finally able to shower Sunday night. She refunded us $50. $50?!!!!!!!! Two days. Four people no showers. This is completely unacceptable and insulting.

Second time staying at this location for a triathlon race in Rock Hall. The house is incredible, in such good condition and very clean. Beautifully decorated. The surrounding houses are quite a mix, some neighbors and some houses abandoned. The area does feel very safe. Elizabeth is a great host. Everything we needed was available.

We sat arond drinking tea on the front porch and watching the Bridgerton serious. It was the perfect mini vacation. This house is so beautiful and well decorated.

Needed a place to stay for our daughter’s graduation from the University of Delaware. Five hotel rooms for two nights (if you can get them) would have cost a small fortune. Also, I am picky :)…well, this property lived up to the hype. Not going to lie, was about a 45 minute to the school but imho, was well worth it. Clean, beautifully furnished, exactly my taste. If you need to be anywhere in that vicinity, do not hesitate to book this property!

Beautiful home located in Crumpton, MD. Approximately 10 miles from Chestertown (Washington College). Bedrooms and bedding was very comfortable. Amenities provided for the bath/shower were very nice. Large front hall area, along with good-sized living room area and dining room area provided plenty of space for our group to spread out during the day. Kitchen had all the amenities that we required, but was a bit small when more than two were there at the same time. Downstairs bathroom was nice to have, however the claw foot tub/shower was not very practical, and had low water pressure. Temperature of water at every faucet in the home went to HOT very quickly, so no issues with that when needed. Upstairs bathroom with tub/shower was better, but we had my 85 year old mother, and 75 year old mother-in-law with us, and they suggested that perhaps a handicap bar could be added for easier in and out of the shower/tub. Gas stove in kitchen worked very well, along with separate microwave and electric oven in the porch area. Washer and Dryer in the porch area worked well also. Plenty of bedrooms, including three beds on the third floor that we did not need to use during our stay, but was a good option to have if needed. Wrap around front and side porch area was also nice to have, however, one of the tasks we gave to my mother-in-law was to give all of the chairs and tables a good cleaning prior to our using them. If you need a space for 6 or more, this is it.

I cannot say enough about the place. It was a beautiful home, was exactly as listed. Very very clean. Had little extra touches in our rooms. Plenty of parking. Was to cold to be outside, but outside space looked nice. Beds were very comfortable. Elizabeth was always available for any questions I had. I would not hesitate to stay again!

Me and eight friends rented this home to ring in the new year and we had a fabulous time! The house is cozy yet roomy with wonderful antiques all about. It's the perfect spot for a little getaway. The large dining table and the living room space both made playing games easy. Plus, the front foyer was perfect for photo ops. Highly recommend!

Perfect for a trip to Chestertown! Not much to do in immediate area, but walking along the river was very peaceful. Short drive I to Chestertown.

The house itself is very nice with many unique furniture pieces and collector’s items through out. The neighborhood isn’t great. Many of the houses around are condemned and falling apart which makes this house really stand out. It seems like the houses in the area are being bought and renovated but there really isn’t much to do in the immediate area and Uber’s are very difficult to find to get places.

The home is beautiful. Plenty of parking for more than one car. Each bedroom has its own door lock and key so you could host a business trip or at the very least not worry about who has the key.
Our trip was extra special as we were to stay right after Hurricane Ian hit us in Florida. The home owner went well out of her way to look out for us and our needs. 100% would recommend staying here if you are in the area and we plan on doing it again if available for next years trip.

First time visiting MD for a festival and this place was amazing. Communication with the property manager was easy and straightforward. I highly recommend this place.

My friends and I spent the night here for a post- Renaissance festival stay. The home is so beautiful and clean. Elizabeth was so easy to work with from check-in to check-out. The area is very peaceful and quiet. I really enjoyed sitting in the rocking chair under the covered porch listening to the rain. My sister loved soaking in the claw foot bath tub after all the time spent walking around the festival. Looking forward to booking again in the future!

This lovely place brought my family members together for a celebration of life for my sister who recently passed. We needed to be close to Chestertown and this was perfect. We spent mornings on the front porch drinking coffee and reminiscing. The house has so much charm and is so very clean! Liz is awesome and was super responsive during our stay.

Spacious home on Eastern Shore of MD
Staying in this well appointed and spacious home made our stay special. We were there for a rowing regatta and coming back to this house was so much nicer than being at a hotel. It really felt like a vacation. While it is an an older home, there are new appliances, including a washer and drier. It was also well supplied with necessary items and more.
Elizabeth was quick to reply to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this to other groups.

Quaint old Victorian a short hop from Chester
This BnB turned rental is spacious and well appointed, with plenty of parking, places to lounge indoor and out, and linens for guests. We loved taking advantage of the rocking chairs on the porch to take in the evening sunset and sound of fireworks nearby. The hosts were so sweet to leave goody baskets in each room with toiletries, water and snacks to get you started on your stay. One note to guests - if you are going to cook on the stove be aware of the smoke alarm right above it in the kitchen. I notified the owner and I am sure they have addressed it by now. But just in case consider low heat or quick cooked meals. Better yet, try some of the great local eateries! We loved wandering downtown Chester, a stop at the chocolate shop and wine store was a must. One of our friends brought their bike and loved the morning rides. Keep in mind this home is in the country in an older community and is in my opinion clearly the best home on the block.

Checkin was super easy, owner was quick with communication. The house was just as beautiful as the photos, so many antiques and paintings throughout and every room was kindly stocked with essentials. There was a mishap with the AC and the owner made sure to let us know and supply us with several new box fans which was much appreciated. Surrounding neighborhood felt safe, through very empty. Short drive to populated chestertown and 30 min from rock hall. Overall, recommend staying here!
