Great stay very clean property owner very responsive. Had and issue with bathroom door owner had it repair right away. Would highly recommend.

This house is absolutely beautiful! We fell in love with the charming vintage details right away. The property was easy to access and the host provided excellent directions and instructions. He responded promptly to the questions I sent. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Charleston.

Had a great stay with family in Charleston for a wedding. Lots of meals, cards and conversations around the large dining table and out on the covered porch. Kitchen has everything you would need.

We’ve stayed at Derek & Angela’s other South Hills property and were so impressed with how well stocked and clean it was. I had high expectations for this property as well and it did not disappoint. It was beautifully decorated, well stocked, and very clean. I do suggest that you look into replacing or tightening the doorknobs. Some of the doors were sometimes difficult to open or close.

Property has everything. Just grab some groceries and you’ll be at home.

We enjoyed staying in this beautiful home! While we didn’t cook a meal during our stay we noticed that the kitchen was more well-stocked than any rental home we’ve used before.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We stayed down the road from my grandparent’s house and used this as extra sleeping space. Everything was clean and the amenities provided were far above par. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This property is amazing! The kitchen is very well supplied making staying and cooking there super convenient. It was clean, tastefully decorated, and a wonderful location. Hosts left clear directions, and helped in making our trip to WV an excellent adventure!

We come to town with our family often and have found the most wonderful, cozy place to stay. Just a short drive to shopping and the Capital street restaurant alley. Close to the university and walking distance to the restaurants and shops on Bridge St. the house was perfect, clean, and comfortable for our family.

I would just like to say that my family and I came to town for the multifest in Charleston West Virginia and everything about this house was awesome. It was very clean and spacious and I have a very big family and we had a wonderful wonderful time together visiting with one another. Thank you so much for your hospitality and you're beautiful home. I will definitely look you guys up again if we ever need to have a big house for a family event.

Giving this property a 5-star rating does not do it justice, this home is fantastic. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies and modern appliances. There is a high chair and dishes for little ones. The home is beautifully decorated. The beds are very comfy. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The finished basement with the tv and ping pong table was a hit with the kids. The owner noticed that the AC was not working properly, he contacted me and then arrived shortly to correct the issue. My favorite thing was to sit on the porch and look at the mountains in the distance.

I needed somewhere central to stay while visiting family in WV. Everything was clean and communication was great. I also really lived the artwork the house has. Would definitely recommend and come back!

This house is located in Charleston’s lovely South Hills neighborhood, convenient to the downtown area, local shops and many attractions. We stayed there during a late spring gathering of extended family. The house is perfect for hosting a family of mixed ages. Our teenage and tween nieces enjoyed the ping pong table and kid-friendly finished space in the basement. We enjoyed preparing family meals in the well-equipped kitchen, and used the spacious dining room for several large family meals. Perhaps my favorite thing about the house was sitting on the large front porch and watching the numerous neighborhood birds during the day, or the fireflies at night. This stay was the second time I have rented a South Hills house from Derrick and Angela (they have 3 in this lovely neighborhood). They are attentive and thoughtful hosts. Communication was great during both rentals.

This house was well maintained, well furnished, and very comfortable to stay in. The layout was perfect for my family and my in laws to gather for an extended weekend together. The location is also perfect - in a quiet section of town that has easy access to downtown, corridor G shopping, as well as the nearby bridge street shopping area. I’d stay here again!

Nice property close to downtown Charleston. We had a group of 6 friends and it fit our needs perfectly. The kitchen has everything's you need to stay in and cook and plenty of towels, blankets, etc. Would definitely return for another stay.
