The home was very comfortable with amazing views. Wish we stayed longer.

A great place to stay if you want some serenity. It's also close to Saratoga Springs and the surrounding area if you want adventure (both city and nature)

The house was well appointed, clean and had everything needed for a wonderful stay. The view of the lake is stunning! Astrid was very welcoming and available to answer all questions. Thanks for a great time.

Our family of 6 adults were lucky enough to stay at Sunrise Cottage on Galway lake for this past weekend (6/16/23 to 6/18/23). We loved the location, the cottage, the deck, the kayaks, the lake, the well appointed kitchen and supplies, the entire house. The interior woodwork was beautiful and comfortable. I asked my wife if she would be able to stay at the cottage for a week. Her reply, "I could live here". Our host, Astrid Miller, was in communication with us as needed and provided all the details for a relaxing stay. If there was one minor negative, it would be the bedroom with the bunk bed. That would be fine for young children but not so comfortable for adults. Other than that minor comment, we loved our stay. Thank you for making our wedding weekend memorable. Sincerely Bill M

Beutiful space on a quiet lovely lake. We loved hearing the loons call. We enjoyed the row boat and kayaks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunrise Cottage. The house was very clean and comfortable. The listing was accurate and the location was perfect. The owners thought of every detail. We rent a lot and this one is a great property.

Casually elegant seems to be the best way to describe the house on Galway Lake. Astrid has gone above and beyond in preparing the house for her guests. We had all that we needed and them some to make for a comfortable stay... even the dog had her own treat bag and beach towels! From morning coffee on the deck to afternoon swims/kayaking in the lake to evening cookouts - a great time was had by all and we look forward to a return visit.

Sitting on the deck overlooking Galway Lake makes this home a relaxing and peaceful mini vacation. No motorized boats on the lake make your days and evenings so peaceful. A great retreat !

Very nice lakeside cottage, amid a group of cottages that are very closely spaced. Clean and modern. AC unit on second floor was overmatched at first with temps in the 90's, but overall was comfortable once we got interior doors opened and the several ceiling fans moving. Lovely deck facing the lake. About 20 miles from Saratoga, and about an hour and 15 from Cooperstown. Host quickly responded to any questions we had. Overall a great stay.

This home on the Galway Lake was so cute and have us more reason to relax and enjoy the setting. When entering you felt completely at home. We absolutely loved haveing the kayaks and boats to explore and the porch and dock to chill on. Location was quiet, neighbors were kind and it was an easy drive to Saratoga Sorings for a concert or to a grocery store for food. We’d consider coming back again!

it was an beautiful property. Neighbors were extremely nice. The cleaning of floors inside could be better and the deck could have been swept off and cleaned before our arrival. But the overall impression of this property was it was beautiful providing our family with a wonderful experience.

The house was very clean and the perfect fit for our getaway. The location on the lake was amazing and we enjoyed the kayaks that were available. We were very happy our stay and would come back!

The house was well maintained and just steps from the lake. The view from the deck was amazing. It fit our group nicely. The neighbors were very close to the right side of the house, luckily they were very friendly! We had a great time :)

This lake house is a PERFECT getaway with family. Kayaking on the lake, 30 minutes from downtown, and a nice wrap around deck to sit on while looking at the lake - what more can you ask for! Astrid was a GREAT host and super accommodating.

Our family had a wonderful time at the Broadalbin NY lake house outside of Saratoga Springs. Our middle son had a rowing event in Saratoga and the lake house was perfectly situated nearby. The kids loved the kayaks and relaxing to dine and play cards with a lake view. The kitchen and all the rooms were well appointed, provisioned comfortable. We would love to come back - many thanks!

Our family enjoyed staying here for a quick weekend trip. Astrid was very responsive with communication and everything in the cottage was clean and comfortable. Nice to be close enough to Saratoga to enjoy a pleasant dinner out and the hiking at the state park but far enough away to be peaceful.

We had a great stay. Our kids and dog were happy to swim all day and it was nice to have kayaks for the whole family. The lake is very quiet, the house was perfect, and the view amazing. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. Fishing was also a hit.
