What a great find, this is a great place to stay. The rooms are lovely and spacious with lovely little touches. The staff were so helpful and friendly, especially Kaitlyn (sorry if the spelling is dodgy) Lunch and breakfast by far exceeded out expectations, the food was fabulous.

Just a very small thing. The chrome just needed buffing in the bathroom, other than that I couldn't fault anything.

Could have been cleaner; dusty skirting boards & streaky mirrors. Also no bedside table on one side.

Clean room, comfy bed. Did in the pub was excellent, I had the pork belly bonbon, really tasty!

The handrail on the stairs was loose at the bottom. Not so bad in itself but I wasn’t warned about it and could have been dangerous due to my having mobility issues. Bathroom radiator on max heat with no control, ended up turning it off completely. Same with the room A/C, no remote to change temp so turned that off as well.

The staff were pleasant on check in, the room was clean and spacious. The evening meals was delicious.

There was a gas leak which disrupted the kitchen, so no cooked breakfast would be available in the morning, we were supposed to be told this on the evening, this didn't happen, unfortunately there was no breakfast at all, we were told breakfast was from 08:00am, however no members of staff were present in the morning, so no tea or coffee, no continental breakfast, no cereal no juice, no toast, absolutely nothing, this was really poor, surely something could have been offered.

No heating in room broken. Bathroom heat rail on when went bed off when got up bath room ver chilly out towels down in time floor as floor cold. Window slightly wedged open couldn’t close. Room faces out back above delivery large gates not locked Leo banging in wind. All bins under window horrible room by should be cheaper . Had to pay 10 pd for 2nd breakfast! But booked booking . Com for two. Would like a refund! Heating only by wall unit no rads? Didn’t work..🥺🥺

Comfy rooms and good food in the evenings

Had to leave before the 8am breakfast start time, I did ask for a takeaway breakfast or even a sandwich made the night before but was told this wasn't possible.
