3 rooms for family staycation
Great property, fantastic staff, ample amenities and the breakfast is absolutely fabulous !

Checking in was easy and the staff was friendly. However we saw a cockroach running around in room which was quite shocking but maybe understandable ? Cant be expecting 100% pest free i guess. Room was in classic theme but feels dated. Felt that the standard curtain would definitely be a lot easier to draw then a louver panel which you cant even adjust the angle to allow some lights in. Where a day curtain allows you to do that with privacy. Think some works can be down to the bathroom like having a heated WC and a bidet spray. Understand cost and time frame maybe an issue , but you techically dont have to tear down the whole bathroom to get a heated WC and a bidet up. Lastly , ask a waitress to help with the drinks order only to be told to order myself over at the counter with i thought was dam weird.

During my first night, I was staying at level 11 forest view and there was an annual UBS company Dinner held at nearby the hotel. It was by 11pm and the dj is not going anywhere. So I called the hotel concierge to figure what they gonna do. First they told me that they were just aware about this event on the same day 10pm and the hotel staff are not authorised to chase them. The hotel staff have notified the Sentosa island ranger about the event said by Haziq duty manager. Eventually I was shifted to level 9 sea view room. I wouldn’t said this is an Upgrade, The room itself is just right next to the gantry of the Glassdoor and the staff access which means I did not have a moment of peace.
I also notice there are marks on the bathroom curtain and stains on the level 3 cafeteria sofa. Overall I was a bit disappointed by the efficiency of the hotel management and the condition of the hotel.
The hotel management could have the Right do something about the private event which they bring it up very last minute and have the island ranger to take action relentlessly.

The Hotel is lovely but be prepared to be invaded by unruly and rude naughty children from privileged families. Parents never look up from their phones while their children create havoc and scream wherever they are in including the restaurants.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool facilities were excellent, especially not closing until 10pm. The location close to the Shuttle buses, beach shuttle and cable car made exploring Sentosa Island very easy. The breakfast offering was excellent.

We recently stayed at the hotel and cannot be happier with our first experience at the Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa.
We booked the hotel by pure luck and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of service, premises, food, activities and all the amenities. The staff were all lovely and very accomodating to our requests ( particularly our kids needs). The hotel and rooms are well maintained and well stocked. The entertainment and daily activities are fun and varied. The buffet has a huge variety of food, from Western to Indian to Asian, great salad/sushi/oyster bar and a very well catered Kids Zone. The pool area is great for both kids and adults and there is plenty of lifesavers on duty.
We will definitely go back and can recommend to friends and family.

They wouldn't put my luggage in the room, it was dangerous because a staff member with large luggage got into the elevator with my child, and there were other complaints about this hotel.

Enjoyed our few days at this resort. The room was large with a great balcony overlooking the pool. A beach bag and beach slippers are provided.
The pool was great. Lots of activities for those that want it and a quiet zone for adults. The beach and sea looked ok but being from the Caribbean, I passed on the sea.
The food at the pool bar was delicious, main restaurant was also very good. Found the buffet too expensive for us but there was certainly a lot of choice - if you can eat that much. We just did a la carte which was great. We appreciated an adult area for breakfast and enjoyed quite a spread there and peace.
There were a lot of children at the resort. Its a great resort for kids with many facilities designed for them.
Self laundry facilities are provided which includes detergent free of charge.

Overall it was a nice place. The restaurant although it had many options was pretty average in flavor and quite expensive if you do the buffet dining for dinner. My wife's main discouragement was after being on a 3-week holiday we needed to get some laundry done and it was extremely difficult to locate any laundry facility and what she did there was one machine that took two and a half hours per load and they staff wasn't very helpful and locating these facilities.

The best hotel resort in Singapore. The staff were really amazing and more importantly the food and services are great at the hotel. Nothing was wrong with our stay. There was an excellent manager named VIN, who is super helpful.

The hotel is outdated. It is very old even the switches turned yellow. It doesn’t seem like 5 star hotel specially the restaurant area. The breakfast was ok or below average.

Stayed here twice now and can honestly say it was better in 2019. This time our room smelt like mould and it took us several days to get it rectified (they ended up moving us to another room which was great.
The staff were attentive and friendly. The kids loved the pool but the hotel is ready for a bit of TLC as its getting a bit tired.

I find this hotel really disappointing, not up to Shangri-La standards elsewhere.
Check in was so slow, rooms were not ready despite arriving at 6pm.
Rooms were dated and the location makes it difficult to leave the hotel unless you plan to stay on Sentosa.
The upsold vouchers for Palawan Beach were a complete waste of money, its not at the hotel as the website suggests, its actually a shuttle bus journey away and when we got there we couldn’t do any of the activities anyway.
Hotel was also full of big groups of school children, so busy.

The place is what you expect from a vacation resort. Did not disappoint. Location great, different walk paths for evening strolls, taxi is cheap to get you too tourist stuff or shopping. There’s a cable car network right outside the hotel.
Breakfast buffet has so much food, you’d think you were in Las Vegas buffet inside a casino.

great location beside the beach, but the seaview is not really nice (you just see a lot of ships and cargos and the port is so close...) and the facilities are really too old, the bathroom door is worn out and the bathroom ventilation is way too weak...

Disappointing experience, starting with 30min queue to get the key, aging room and very crowdy hotel. We went early for breakfast and managed to escape the never ending queue that started after we arrived. The hotel is nice for families with kids as there are lots of games and activities. The beach is a bit muddy. The view from the room are very nice and the balcony is great.

Great sea front property. Large pool w adult only area was great. Chairs, umbrelllas and towels provided. Great pool bar w chair service. Excellent buffet breakfast and room service. Bubble bar was our go to spot for a drink. Always friendly service. Shangri-la is a great brand!
