Front office staff weren’t at all responsive to a couple of complaints from other guests who asked for help at the front desk when I was checking in or out. One had asked for maintenance to look at a smelly shower but no one had attended, while another complained about excessive and prolonged construction noise from an adjacent apartment. The receptionist said they would follow up but after the guest left she commented they couldnt do anything because the noise came from a privately owned apartment and had been going for many days. The breakfast facilities are tired, not many options and are overpriced. The entry foyer has this weird chlorine smell about it due to its proximity to the pool. So overall neat, conveniently located, but don’t have high expectations.

Great pools and spas

A little dated, but great location and spacious.

King bed was essentially two singles put together. Left me with my feet hanging over the end of the bed.

It is very hard to get wifi password.

The location is great, with a tram stop out the front. The reception and pool areas are lovely, very spacious and many areas to sit and relax. Our apartment had everything we needed, very well equipped and comfortable with lovely views.

Like surroundings the property, indoor hot tub, indoor pool dry sauna steam sauna, very huge and spacious. Barbecue area with outdoor pool, resting areas ground floor The best is we don't use our car transport just next-door from Mantra Sun City hotel trams or walk to Surfers Paradise centre 10minutes beach 5mins.

We had a terrific stay. Great views (which sadly will be hindered with the completion of the new build in front), great location and lovely staff.

Property was fine, a little dated, but still perfectly fine. Very spacious inside. Ironing board was faulty (it collapsed while ironing). Asked for a replacement but was not provided. Great location and hotel nice.

The apartment was spacious & beautiful views. Staff were friendly.

On the first night the female receptionist was very helpful with smiles and seeing her around as made some inquiries and she was very helpful On the mornings there was a male receptionist was very rude without smiles and unprofessional attitude Love the property As very disappointing that the two rooms weren’t together for our disability reasons with hearing loss as high risks with fire alarms as can’t hear them The beds were terrible as so old and soft which caused lower back pains So left very early to get to home to firm bed for my back issues The pools are fantastic and loved the atzec looks

Convenient for transportation.

The room had dents on the wall, and paint and plaster peeled off. There was a damp, musty smell in the room. An awful smell lingered in the hallway floor close to the lifts. The cornice had a big crack. The mattress protector had a bloodstain. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling, and there was no exhaust in the bathroom. A very thin blanket. Overall, it wasn't worth the money.

Great pools and spars staying there again soon

Same as other reviews. Dated and some aesthetic problems that come with an ageing property but everything was functioning well and it has fantastic facilities for kids and families. The heated spas and pools are great at this time of year when it gets cooler, and the waterslides are not just for show, they are quite fast. Gym and steam room also very good. Basketball ring and tennis courts a highlight. Staff very helpful. Location great. Ocean views may not last much longer (there is a 77 story building just starting) but the 2 bedroom unit was huge and very well received. My two children loved having the master bedroom with its own bathroom. If you do not expect a flashy new fitout then you will be happy with Sun City.

Some evident water damage in the pool area, needs repairing. Location is great and staff were very helpful.

I loved the resort features, pools, sauna, steam room. The location to transport. Thr aestitic features were unique. I didnt like my bed and woke up with crock back. I didnt like the cafe been shut because it was easter.

Very clean and spacious apartments.

When I arrived at the hotel, the reception staff provided minimal information and appeared uninterested in conversation. On the morning of my check-out, I requested a lazy checkout, but was abruptly told that I should have requested it on the day of check-in. This has never happened to me before. Instead of dealing with me at the counter, the staff member kept disappearing for 20 to 30 minutes, leaving me waiting.

Sad to say not an enjoyable stay. This has been the first accommodation that didn't supply house keeping for our stay not supplying fresh towels or making our room. It also didn't have a dinning option. The bar / coffee shop didn't have great opening hour's.

We rented a 1 bedroom condo with oceanfront views!!! It was absolutely amazing! I will be back

Beautiful location awesome facilities kids loved it so much

Our stay was great. The staff were super nice and friendly. Very helpful and got us an early check in which was great. The bathroom was a bit out dated and the bathroom door wouldn’t close as was swollen. Overall would definitely go back again

Great place and easy to get around

Two families staying in 2 ocean view apartments. Check in was smooth. Efficient and friendly staff. The view from both apartments was stunning . 1 apartment had obviously been renovated and was good. The second apartment was ageing, worn out carpets
