This hotel is well situated for restaurants , gas stations and easy highway access. The room was comfortable and clean. Front desk people were helpful. Breakfast could have been better.

We needed a place to escape from the remnants of Helene and the conditions in Western North Carolina. This property was convenient to food choices and allowed us to bring our dogs. We actually checked out a day earlier than expected. Is there any way to get a refund for one night due to our situation?

Doesn’t allow locals…. Like seriously during a natural disaster and you kick people out because they are local? We’ve been without power for three days with multi medical family members and they kicked us out today. What a dumb policy. This company will be blasted for being so greedy and ignorant. We will tell friends not to go there.

I had the A/C set to 70. My last night I woke up around midnight, the thermostat read 75. The air would turn on for a second then turn back off. I got very little sleep.

The pictures are much nicer than the real thing, service was fine, but the hotel is very outdated and kinda falling apart. Pool was very cold and not the cleanest. They need to really work on their facilities !!!

This property does not accept local residents even from as far away as Charlotte, be careful making reservations here if you are from anywhere in SC because you may potentially lose the ENTIRE amount of funds that you paid to book the hotel.Its ridiculous and should be illegal.

Breakfast was really good. Waffles oj cramberry juice yogurt sausage muffins ceral milk. Although i would have liked the option for fresh fuit.
Balancing breakfast quality with welcoming staff that enjoys people while being enthusiastic and helpful without negative judgment of others would have made this more of an enjoable stay.
The staff members we encountered August 24 2024 seemed to hate life in general.

We stayed a week here for a cornhole tournament. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Room service was very respectful and on top of everything.

Overall the stay was good. Staff was friendly and greeted me among check-in. Breakfast was okay with the basics; sausage, eggs, waffles. Location is nice with plenty of stores, restaurants and fast food to choose from. My only issue during my stay is the cleanliness of my room. I was in room 106. The carpet is heavily stained and needs a cleaning or even replaced. I would probably stay again if in the area.

Great location and options for eating or shopping all around. Room smelled musty. Found one dead cockroach under pull out sofa. Hallways were hot and musty. Typically stay at hotels within the Marriott family, but they were all booked, probably would not stay at this location again.

The room were confortable and clean but the overall experience was a bit disappointing. The gym was closed for maintenance. The breakfast was ok with eggs and meat but there was no bread and only sweat things. There were no cleaning done to our room for 5 days. You probably need to ask. One employee got very upset after clients did not clean up their table after breakfast and refuse to clean the table for new clients to use it. Not very professional.

The lobby is beautiful. We were greeted by 2 friendly ladies at the desk. The room colors are dated. The beds were comfortable. The pillows were small, square, and puffy. Not very comfortable at all. I would give the breakfast 2.5 stars. Very few choices.
We'd stay again and get breakfast elsewhere.

Key cards were old fashioned and doors were hard to open and close. Room could use some cosmetic repairs. Staff is friendly and helpful. Loved having the couch as a normal room can accommodate five people at a reasonable rate.

This is by far the nastiest hotel I have been to, inside and out. Overflowing trash cans outside, a year’s worth of cigarette butts strewn about, empty beer cans and party cups in the grass and in the fountain. Peanut shells in the elevator and hallway, used cotton balls in the hallway. The sleeper sofa was gross and broken/ unusable. A parking light directly outside window with nothing but sheer curtains and no way to block out the light from the beds. Dirty coffee maker, refrigerator and the walls had not been wiped down for quite a while with mystery stains abound. The bathroom had mold, chipped paint and grime everywhere, we decided we would all feel cleaner not shower vs getting in that nasty shower.
