Lots of bugs in the bathroom ！Will not come back ！

Managed to get a bargain price for a night (~USD 65/night) and the experience was outstanding given the price I paid. The TV was huge, and the bath was super comfortable. Basically just cant fault anything

this hotel is old and the air condition is not working, and I had to go downstair front desk to borrow a fan !!

I stayed for one night in Toyo Hotel, which is very close to Hakata Station in the heart of Fukuoka. Easy to get to the airport and Shinkansen as well as local city destinations. Check in was a breeze, room was waiting, and clean conditions. The only 'meh' is the comfort of the bed, but this is standard in Japan....the beds are way too firm for my liking. Not Toyo Hotel's fault by any means if all hotels are like this.Check out next day was also easy with a quick drop of the key and out the door. The price was exceptional at under 4500 Yen, or about $43! Definitely recommend for a short stay in Fukuoka.

The building was a bit old and the room was small. It was not bright enough and the facilities in the room are old. There was someone's hair on the bed and in the bathroom.

it was functional. like most Japanese hotels, it still smelled smokey even in non smoking room...It was close to the Station which was good, I didnt go for the option of Breakfast..it didnt looking such a great deal.otherwise, it wasnt memorable for any reason..good or bad..staff were okay...didnt try too hard...!

It was good for a one night stay. Rooms are very small but clean. Staff was friendly.

Small room, but very comfy and helpful staff. Communication might be a bit hard if you don't understand Japanese at all.

Great location - just few minutes walk from Hakata JR Station and subway, department and eatery.
