Always used to stay here when in Amritsar but the hotel has lost its charm. Service level have dropped, room conditions are not upto standard and worse has to be reception which should be the best but hiring people with more focused on counting money and chit chatting than customer device. Truly sad to see the drop in service and just overall Taj experience you expect from Taj properties Other hotels have surely gained

Worst hotel I ever had. Television is not working,hot water kettle is not working,Washroom door doesn’t locked if I tried to close it wasn’t,Fridge is not working.I complained to manager but no action was taken.Thought out the day they didn’t change it.When we came back at 10:00 pm at that time some things are working.

Very well located hotel, but housekeeping / linen is in a very poor state. Towels are old and look mouldy and housekeeping doesn't even know they have to put hand towels in the bathroom. YYou have to ring housekeepong for even a glass!! Very poorly equipped rooms.
Food definitely can be made better. It is better to step out of the hotel for a meal.
Staff is courteous but they also cant do anything if you give a suggestion. Used to be a good hotel but has really fallen in standard! The saving grace is the location!

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn a couple of years back , but this time we found the hotel looking shabby. Linen is old and run down, laundry is not fresh. Only one restaurant is open so you are limited in the hotel itself .
Staff is very helpful but the condition of the hotel has really gone down . Major upgrade needed in the rooms and linens

Flooring squeaky and coming off. Mattress was too old and beat. King size bed is almost the size of international queen size. Lack of coordination and system updating leading to inconvenience and confusion while checking out.
No bill was given when payment was made.
Staff was courteous though, I might say.
Condensation on window was too much causing bad smell in room.
The experience was just not what was expected from holiday inn.

Property requires serious upgrades, bedding had stains and not clean. Bathroom had blinds in shower to block view from room and had mold on blinds. Bath towels need to be replaced as looks all worn out. Sofa in room is worn out. Holiday Inn I booked as I always had great experience in US but this property disappointed. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. I will not chose this as cleanliness is topmost priority.

Internet connection was constantly breaking up so that I could not do my work.
Fridge in the room was not working it was replaced the second day.
Sink was clogging and took two days to repair.
Number of towels provided was insufficient, had to call to have additional.
For the amount of money we payed in comparison to others in the hotel, our entire experience (including the view) was sub optimal.

Hotel in need of modernisation. Rooms were very dated as was the bed, bedding and towels. Corridor carpets were very dirty. Breakfast, although a good spread, was tasteless and most of the food was bland and cold.
The staff however, were as good if not better than a 5 star hotel. They were extremely attentive and when things did not work in our room ( which was often the case) someone came to resolve the issue almost immediately.
Location is also very good.

This was truly one of the worst experiences of my life. Mr. SANDEEP the duty manager called my room and yelled at me . He wanted to charge me 40 dollars additional for breakfast that was supposed to be included. He should not be allowed to work in the hotel industry.

Very friendly staff especially the house keeping staff is excellent and the front desk fulfills your request within minutes. Overall everyone is very respectful and friendly. Very comfortable stay at this hotel. Will definitely book here again in the future.

The hotel is amazingly clean and comfortable. We haf some issue with the cooling of the room but the service guy was quick in fixing it. The location is good and is close to the city. The breakfast is great and overall our experience with holiday Inn was not less than super perfect.

It’s a very well maintained property. The location is good too. There are some local restaurants nearby if u want to step out. The golden temple isn’t very far. Maybe 7-10 minutes drive. And to top it all We got an upgrade too.

This time front desk guy was super rude he was not interested at all to check inn you I have to wait over one hour then another nice front desk lady checked me in different room but this balled guy
Not at all friendly he was not at with his co workers
And all guests was upset too I will not go again if I will see him again on front desk he was showing so much attitude I was feeling that he is paying for my room

Very nice and clean hotel. Staff were very accomodating and attentive - I will be returning to stay next year for my wedding. Breakfast is delicious and has a very large choice - would like to make a special mention to Ranjit who served us each morning at breakfast and kept checking if required anything further!

There is nothing convenient around the property (ATM, grocery shop, etc). I checked in to a room with a running leak on the bathroom floor. It was completely flooded. Not a big deal, they changed my room but it still was still a little inconvenient.
