The staff was excellent. The food was delicious!

OceanZ is a quiet Ocean front oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Palm Beach, yet only minutes away by car, taxi or bus. It is the best of both worlds. It is right across from Malmok beach and Tres Tapi for easy access to snorkeling. The staff and food are beyond compare. We ate breakfast daily and had dinner twice during our stay. Our best meals were at Ocean Z.

This property is a little further away from the action, but that's why I selected it. I was not prepared for the construction on the 2 properties next door, that woke me up every morning. Apparently there are no rules in Aruba so they can start and end whenever, even on Sundays.

Amazing staff and low key clean

The hotel is gorgeous, quiet, safe, and complete with everything you need for a nice vacation in Aruba. The staff go WAY above and beyond for their patrons and all the little thoughtful details made this a fantastic getaway. I celebrated my 40th birthday here and can't say enough great things about Ocean Z. And the food is out of this world - the restaurant see visitors from all over the island which is telling to how amazing the menu is - get the paella and you won't be disappointed!! Beautiful stay :)

Great location and lovely atmosphere. If you are looking for quiet no fuss relaxation, this is your place. The lovely, Miami like interior courtyard, nice clean rooms and open bathroom are all geared towards helping guests feel a zen like calm:) the staff is nice and helpful, just remember that umbrellas at Arashi beach cost 70 but it is the best beach and so worth it. We did go to ritz beach and it had seaweed and none of the vibe of Arashi. So pay the money and hang out at Arashi you won’t regret it. For us the shampoo etc were not luxuries as much as the late check out and general freedom to relax. That stuff can be bought, time is the real rarity. Highly recommend this small hotel!good restaurant, extremely pricy kind you, but nice food and slow service. No one rushes which isn’t a bad thing! Breakfast was also nice- no waste and enough food! We shall be back for sure if the hotel maintains its chill, sleepy energy!

I enjoyed my stay at Ocean Z Boutique hotel. Maria and Odra have the most spectacular customer service and were extremely helpful. Feliciano who was our hostess at dinner also had wonderful customer service. The hotel is beautiful and so is the staff, anyone that walks past you will greet you with a smile. Also the food is great !

Our stay at Ocean Z was awesome. The staff was extremely courteous and hospitable. The premises was clean and well kept. My husband and I would def return to Ocean Z.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. Every detail is very well thought out! Super clean, everything new, great service. We love it!

Overall, this was a serene and unique property. The vaulted bedroom ceiling, semi-private balcony pool, and modern looking bathroom were very enjoyable and memorable. However, some of the closet drawers were broken or didn't slide well, there was no exhaust fan for the bathroom, and the wind made constant noises at night (need to improve this). The staff was fantastic and most accommodating though. I would definitely stay here again.

This was our first time at a boutique and we absolutely loved the individual attention we received. Herman was very hospitable and our breakfasts every morning with Marie were wonderful. Everyone at the hotel, as well as the other guest were very friendly. The hotel itself and the food was out of this world!

Everything about this hotel was perfect for us. We had a room with the private infinity pool on our balcony. Amazing view, the pool was great. Staff was beyond kind and would offer to help with anything before you'd even think about needing help. Breakfast every morning was absolutely beautiful and delicious. Something to look forward to every morning. They heard us talking about going down to the beach during breakfast, and brought us a cooler with ice and 2 beach chairs, and we didnt even ask! It was perfect. Dinner is also very good. Can't say enough good things about this hotel. This was our first trip to Aruba, and we plan on coming back. When we do, I won't even bother looking at another hotel. This place is it for us. Special thank you to Maria and Herman for all they do!

Lovely people clean

It was away from the downtown area which was what my husband and I was looking for. The rooms are beautiful and modern. The owner Eva along with the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was amazing. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. My next trip to Aruba we will definitely stay at Ocean Z

From our beautiful ocean view room that has our own mini jacuzzi pool, and the beautiful sight of the sun setting every night; To beautiful and welcoming workers and staff of Ocean Z who both served us during our stay at the hotel and while dining at their restaurant, we had an incredible time and we’d highly recommend this place especially if you want to be away from the crowd. Special shoutout to Vivi and Isabella for being so wonderful and kind. You girls made our trip more memorable. God bless you!!

The service here is absolutely exceptional. Each person at Ocean Z knew our names, were eager and happy to help with anything at all. The food was excellent, the pool was really nice, and location is superb, if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing, nature-first experience. We has a delicious fresh breakfast each morning, walked to the beach, snorkeled with fish and sea turtles (!!) and came back to relax in the pool, have a glass of wine on our balcony, etc. The only reasons we didn't give this 5 stars is because our room (the mini master suite) was much smaller than anticipated, and unfortunately there was a sewage smell/situation which was unpleasant for a full 24 hours of our time here. Other than that, the owners, mgmt, folks in service, etc. were phenomenal!

I booked OceanZ for a surprise 25th wedding anniversary for my wife and I. This was both of our first time in Aruba. I looked at several hotels online, but I had specific requirements that I wanted from this trip, and the traditional hotel, didn't really appeal to me figuring it would be just another flavor of the same thing (i.e most chain hotels), in a different country. I discovered OceanZ in my search and obviously the reviews played a big part in my selection. But the pictures showed atheistics that I felt my wife and I would enjoy, also the proximity to the ocean. There are different room types to choose from. There was only one Ocean view room available for the 8 days I wanted it, but it had a nice balcony so we could watch the sunsets (which were amazing btw). The room was cozy, super clean, bed very comfortable and well maintained. Fresh beach towels each day; and the salt water pool and patio area was awesome. We would swim before breakfast, and usually in the evening! The included breakfast was excellent, made fresh, the Egg's Oz was my particular favorite! The hotel is located in the quieter north west side of the island, away from the hustle and bustle of the Hotel Area. I'd recommend renting a small rental car and zipping around the island. If your considering this hotel, then you must already know the kind of experience your looking for, so do it!

This business (boutique hotel, high end restaurant and a fashion boutique) is a hidden gem in the Carribean. My daughter and I had an amazing 12 day stay in the bigger pool suite (room 10) in July. Amazing experience enhanced by professionalism, very wam hospitality and kindness. Comfortable, clean and chic hotel room. Stunning guest pool downstairs and a romantic smaller private pool accessed from the pool suite upstairs. The staff provided exceptional service with grace and a smile. Owner Eva is a visionary with an immense talent, immecable taste in fashion and decor and deep knowledge of how to run a high end boutique hotel business and restaurant. Special thanks to GM Leonicita. She is very professional, engaging, kind, smiley and attentive. No request was too big or too small. I loved our conversations over breakfast each morning. A lifetime of memories was created. Many thanks to everyone at Ocean Z! Everyone made us feel welcome - like we were at home - and the food and cocktails/drinks at the restaurant were absolutely amazing! We will be back!

My wife and I just stayed at the ocean z hotel in Aruba. We were in suite 11 with an amazing view of the ocean. This hotel is beautiful. Very clean, quiet and away from the busy tourist areas. But if you want to go there it's only a 5 min drive up the road. The beach is a 3 min drive or 10 min walk. What sets this place apart by far is the staff. The staff is awesome. So attentive and friendly. Especially Maria. She took care of whatever we needed at any time. They had breakfast for us every morning and having dinner in their restaurant at night was a great experience. The only negative I can say is that the jets in our private pool were broke and could not be fixed until our last day. Small price to pay for how amazing everything was. I highly recommend and will absolutely stay there again. We loved it.

Well I was under the impression based on all of the travel apps that there was one room left. Well this was not the case. I was the only one in the hotel. The entire hotel was vacant. It is not walkable to any convenience stores or shopping. The beaches there are full of coral reef and rocks. It is across the street from the beach. The breakfast was perfect. If you choose dinner at their restaurant you can expect to pay some awfully high prices compared to the rest of the island. I asked Leoncita if there were any places to shop and she mentioned to me that I shouldn't be shopping on my vacation. Regardless she sent me to a rundown area in the city which made me uncomfortable once I left my car and walked to the shopping areas. I had to find out on my own that there was a hotel zone which was 5 minute drive from where the hotel was. It was very active and full of tourists and action. And this is the type of vacation that I wanted. So I decided to leave the hotel and transferred to the Hyatt Regency. I was not given any refund but I did not expect it. I was so unhappy there because I was all by myself that I actually paid for another hotel in an area where there were people and assortments of restaurants and food and shopping etc. I cannot complain about the hotel it was a very beautiful hotel and a wonderful staff. It would be a very romantic hotel for couples. I blame myself for going to a boutique hotel. It just wasn't for me. I still enjoyed my stay while I was there.

So first I’d like to apologize for this late review as upon returning from my vacation I was extremely busy. I knew I was eventually gonna get to it. I would like to begin by sayin thank you to Leoncia who made this a dream vacation from the moment we got there. It was our 30th anniversary and she made sure it was memorable. Her service and attention to detail made this by far our best trip and experience ever. From the preparation and decoration of our room to the delicious meals in the dining area, it was all amazing. Leo cita serviced us personally during breakfast, and even that was impressive. A week for us did not seem like enough time as we felt so comfortable and well taken care of. It honestly felt like we were part of the family. I would like to express my gratitude to the owners Eva and Zulay whom I must say weee super attentive and personable. Eva also made it clear that if I needed anything, that I could even knock on her door with any questions or concerns. I would also like to recognize the staff on premises they made our stay so comforting. Thank you to Odra, Michael, and Ediney. This is a place that I am looking forward to returning to!

We travel alot and stay in very nice resorts but decided to try something different this time. Ocean Z really spoiles us and has changed our prospective on accommodations whwn traveling. Our stay was so personalized and special and with only 13 rooms, very private. It was like am oasis from the hustle and bustle. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The bathroom shower is outdoors and adds such a romantic vibe and great for pics. The staff is amazing and truly provide hospitality that spoils you rotten. Leoncita and Maria were the absolute best!!!!! They truly worked together to make sure we had reservations, excursions, taxis, and a table set every morning for breakfast. We got a chance to met the owner Eva so that was exciting and her son. Im not sure if he was working or there to relax with his family but he helped several times and was SUPER nice! If you are looking for a personal experience, Ocean Z is the place. It's in a great location, the restaurant hands down was the best food we had the whole week. Seasoned to perfection! Thus hotel is truly one of a kind.
