Beautiful rooms and fantastic service. The hotel provided both an American and Asian selection in their buffet. All was excellent.

Wow... what can we say. We arrived with 2 weary children (8 & 10) after a 5 hour train journey from Beijing and then a 50 minute taxi ride. The hotel couldn't have been more helpful. We arrived at our sumptuous room with bunk beds that the kids adored, and were told that the children could participate in free activities including calligraphy, paper cutting, magic drawing, and learn about the tradition of Chinese tea ceremony at a time of our convenience. The children enjoyed their time with Bella Chang so much they didn't want to leave as she was so patient and attentive. The children kept telling us the experience was unforgettable. During lunchtime we walked the 5 minutes through the pedestrian area to the intime shopping area ( level 3) to enjoy authentic Xi'an food (袁家村)。 The next day after a full day of terracotta warriors, temples and pagodas, the Children were tired but were so keen to do the tea making and calligraphy again that they asked reception and the amazing Angel Zhong this time worked with the kids and they loved every part again. Later we were delighted to be invited to the VIP lounge on level 8 which we all loved. The variety of food available was not only visually pleasing but also delicious. Great view, relaxing music, attentive staff, can't asked for a better way to unwind. Angel came and presented the kids with amazing gifts (we were speechless) and made us feel so welcome by telling us about history, life and culture of Xian. We just casually to

The rooms are huge and luxurious. The bed is so comfortable. When I told the staff that the airconditoning temperature was too high and couldn’t be adjusted, they fixed it immediately. The restaurant staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is an oasis within a hot and dusty city.

The staff are very helpful. The room is comfortable. The buffet breakfast is splendid, both Chinese and Western food.

From the Check-In, assisted by Bella, to the upgraded room and the services available (massages, room facilities) and the perfect location -right in the middle of a "Modern China Festival Corridor" great for tourists and families- we LOVED the Xi'an Experience at this hotel. A big Thank You!

This was an alexcrotiibslly comfortable hotel with s very responsive staff! Arriving about midnight, I was warmly welcomed and upgraded from my reserved room to a suite! It was beautiful with very clean and well appointed bathroom, comfortable working spaces, and extraordinarily comfortable bed with high quality linens. I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so I can’t speak to the food and beverage services, but what amazed me was how the service team had thought about every place I might want to have a bottle of water, and there was a bottle there for me! Stacey, the Guest Services Manager, was very pleasant, and I can understand if she’s training the other service staff members, that they are all excellent. The internet worked great the entire time I was there, and the hotel is a short, ten minute walk to the Tang Paradise park and even closer to shopping of different types, if you are interested, so it provides some good fresh air walks as well in the direct vicinity of the hotel. I can’t wait to stay here longer as it really was a beautiful property, and it made being on a business trip a far more enjoyable experience!

Very comfortable hotel with efficient and friendly staff. Hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood hence a bit far from the shopping area.

Our room was wonderful There are many beautiful hotels in Xian but for my money, this is where I'll be staying whenever I visit Xian.

A new hotel in a new area of town. The customer service was good but slight miscommunication on whether our breakfast was included or not. All in all a wonderful stay!

This was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff were terrific, the room was delightful, the location was great--overall it was a wonderful stay. The only hiccup was access to the pool, which was in the residence next door, rather than in the hotel. The people there were not friendly and wouldn't give us towels, and the pool itself was a disappointment: it was cold and the smaller pool, which looked like a hot tub, was just another cold pool. But that was a tiny flaw in an otherwise perfect stay.

This hotel went way above my expectations! 1. The staff is the best. So welcoming and helpful. We were on a first name basis with them. This was especially important since we don't speak any Chinese. We lost an item and they called several places for us to try to locate it. Then we had a problem where we couldn't get back to the hotel and the staff took care of packing up our luggage and holding it until we could pick it up. The concierge is staffed 24 hours! 2. The room is extremely spacious and well-appointed. We had floor to ceiling windows with a view of the brightly decorated street mall area. The windows are very sound dampening and the blackout curtains work well. The staff brought in an air purifier without our even requesting it, 3. Location is terrific. We could walk to shops and restaurants and to the Goose Pagoda to see the nightly light show. It seems very safe at night, people were walking around and dancing until 9 or 10 at night.

We had a wonderful stay at the Wyndham Grand South. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite since we were a family of three sharing. The room was beautiful with a huge amount of space, luxurious bathroom and wardrobe etc, and the bed extremely comfortable. we enjoyed use of the club lounge too which was very peaceful. The pool and gym were a real plus, very clean with all equipment you would need and the concierge made every effort to help us plan our site seeing activities. We thoroughly enjoyed the Banpo site before seeing the Terracotta Warriors which we would not have visited were it not for the hotel recommendation. The staff were really very helpful and friendly the best we have experienced in our travels of china. Many thanks for a wonderful stay!
