This home worked perfectly for our family. Plenty of room for our large group. We especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

We met our family from Arizona and it was a perfect location and backyard was perfect for hanging out.

This was my first Vrbo rental, and our vacation turned out perfect! The house was beautiful and the pool and outside areas were fantastic! I would highly recommend this rental if you are traveling with children.

Three of the TV remotes didn’t work. The gas tank ran out of gas and host said they would deliver a new one and never did. The oven timer didn’t work properly, the microwave wasn’t very efficient. Did not feel it was worth the money we paid.

We stayed at this property with another family (4 adults, 6 children) and we were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen, bedrooms, living spaces were perfect for our size group. The property offered endless fun with the pool table, pool, spa and ping pong table. The pool area and fire pit were luxurious - they surpassed our expectations. The home was clean. Communication with management was timely and professional. We highly recommen renting this property!

My family and I recently stayed in this property and experienced many problems with it. The biggest issue was that the drain for the kitchen sink and the dishwasher was completely backed up and made it impossible to use the kitchen. This was a problem because we specifically booked this house for its large central kitchen. The property manager sent someone to the house for two full days to fix the problem, but it was not fixed. The property manager wanted to continue sending people to the house, but we were only there for 4 days and we were tired of having strange people in our space making loud noises and causing sewage smells. There was very little rectification provided for this major inconvenience. We also found business cards for plumbers in the kitchen, indicating that the owner knew that there were plumbing issues already and still decided to continue renting the property. On top of the kitchen being unusable, there was an ant infestation in one of the bathrooms, which took 3 days to get fixed and only got better after we had to continuously use the vacuum to clean them up. The room in one of the bedrooms also leaked in multiple spots when it rained. There were all sorts of other minor issues with the house that otherwise would not have been worth mentioning, but when taken in the context of these other larger problems, they all added up to a very uncomfortable stay for the amount of money we spent. This property is not well maintained and should not be rented in the condition that it is currently in.

Loved this house! With 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms made this the perfect house for a large family gathering. All the beds were very comfortable - something you very rarely find in a house this large. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances… and the Dream couch in the family room is to die for!! Once you get in it, you never want to get out. The outdoor fire pits offered a nice place to gather and talk on chilly evenings and mornings. The VERY large driveway offered ample parking in an area with very limited parking making it the perfect gathering place. The neighborhood is very beautiful and this house did not disappoint! We did not use the pool or hot tub due to it being January, but would be a very welcome attraction by mid-summer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need and more (including plenty of towels :))! They backyard is amazing, a vacation in itself. Exceptionally clean.

We went down to La Jolla to see San Diego and this house was the perfect jumping off point. Plenty of separate rooms / beds, tons of outdoor seating space with an awesome pool, hot tub, and multiple firepits. Couldn't recommend it more highly!

This property was absolutely fantastic. Our group of close friends and family came here together for a relaxing getaway and the property exceeded our expectations! It is amazing how gorgeous the entire property is. The beautiful kitchen, pool, grill, hangout areas and bedrooms were heavenly! Our host was very accommodating and communicative to make our trip completely stress-free! We would love to come back in the future and recommend this property and host to all interested in visiting La Jolla! 10/10. :)

Total of 12 family members. Youngest was 10. Five from 16-21snd six adults. We all lived the home - perfect for us. Pool, ping pong & pool tables provided lots of fun! Comfortable and easy. Close to La Jolla & San Diego for other activities. Highly recommend

10 family members (ranging from mid-teens to 80) comfortably stayed at Villa Solamar in July 2022. Grandpa (who just turned 80) wanted to show the grandkids his old Navy stomping grounds from his service years ago. Villa Solamar was an amazing place for us all. More than ample space for everyone to comfortably hang-out and enjoy the amazing La Jolla weather. Backyard pool, hot tub, lounging chairs, multiple fire pits, ping pong - you name it, we had it -- and used it all. Very well situated in La Jolla -- easy access to the beach just down the road, Highway 5 for a quick jaunt to the Zoo, USS Midway, or the Naval Base. Downtown La Jolla had everyone you could ever want. Fun farmers market. A Ferrari/Lamborghini/Bentley dealership -- why not? We had an absolute blast at Villa Solamar and really hope to make it back to enjoy once again. Host was very responsive in messaging via the app during our stay. Can't say enough positive things .... so will simply end with - THANK YOU!

It was perfect for our family get together. We had a range in ages and all enjoyed our time there.

This property was large enough and comfortable enough to accommodate our party of 12, although, 4 family members were unable to attend the reunion because of illness. The pool was fantastic for kids and adults alike. We spent all of our time at the house, in back by the pool. There were plenty of bath towels and beach towels for the pool. The host managers were easy to contact and very responsive.

Backyard could not have been better. It has everything you could want. Pool, spa, fire pits, ping pong and more. The kitchen needs some work in cleanliness and appearance. The supplies in the bathroom were limited. 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms makes it great for a large group. Urban Sands was easy to contact when issues came up.

This house is perfect! Excellent backyard w/ pool, hot tub, ping pong, and multiple fire pits. Inside is also full of games, pool table, and has the most comfortable living room couch. A few mins away from downtown and the beach. We had a great time, 10/10 stay!

Thank you so much for a perfect place for our holiday. This house was amazing. It was clean, super comfortable and well laid out. The kitchen has lots of space and everything you need. It was close enough to the beach and shops but just far enough away that we could peacefully relax in the beautiful and private back yard. The pool was a perfect temperature and clean. The hosts were super helpful and available at all times if we needed anything or had questions. We dream of returning, I highly recommend this house for your holiday.

This house was absolutely perfect for my family that was visiting San Diego for a funeral. In addition to being a beautiful house, there was plenty of bed space for all the adults and children in our group. The pool and patio are fantastic and kept the kids entertained for days. The host was also very accommodating for all our requests and communicated very quickly. They were a pleasure to rent from and I would repeat any time I happen to be in the area.

This is a great home for a large family looking for a fun getaway. Pool table and ping pong are nice and the backyard is truly an oasis. The gardens and flowers really make you feel transported and peaceful. We did not have have cell reception (Verizon) and the wifi works excellent out back and in the kitchen but not great in the further bedrooms. Plenty of towels and kitchen appliances with a big grill for cooking at home. We would recommend to anyone considering a stay.

Stayed at the property with 12 friends (13 total adults) for a wedding in the area and absolutely loved the property. Great amount of space, very clean, and in a nice secluded area. The large quantity of bathrooms was perfect for everyone to have their own space and get ready. The couch in the living room was probably one of the comfiest couches I've ever been on. Had a great time hanging out in the backyard....only wish it was warm enough to enjoy the pool. Would definitely retturn.

We had a great stay here. Everything was just as great as it appeared in the photos if not better. Plenty of room for multiple groups, kids and adults alike. We spent most of our time enjoying the pool and enjoying some movies in the living room.

Surprised my fiance with a last-minute stay-cation and could not have loved it more. Everything was clean and had a super easy check-in. My only complaint was that the weather was too nice to use the fireplaces - next time! The place was bigger than we needed but I would totally come back with a bigger group!

It is a great property and looks just like the picture on the website. Had a few friends over for a dinner and everyone loved it. Would absolutely stay there again.
