A very nice hotel. We were given a wonderful room, very large, spacious and comfortable. The food and service were both excellent. As the hotel is an hours drive from Rosslaire, we will use the hotel as our stopping point when we next visit Ireland from the U.K.

A lovely hotel in a beautiful Georgian Town. The hotel was convenient for our travels & so glad we came! The highlight was breakfast & dinner. Staff were professional & friendly - &the bar/head waiter at dinner was absolutely fabulous 👏👏👏👏👏

This property is just lovely. The room was elegant, the view from our room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was superb! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Friendly and efficient staff, nice ambience and one of the best hotel meals I have ever experienced (and I have experienced hundreds). The terrine and then hake to follow were exceptional and my wife had a steak which she described as 'best ever'. We will definitely return.

Lovely reception area with a log fire. Food and service was excellent. Comfortable bed and temperature of the room was just right.

Clean spacious room. Bathroom a bit cold. We stayed at the front of the hotel and there was a bit of on-street noise but it didn't go on too late.
We ate in the bar in the evening and the food was very good.

The only downsides were the wait and mox up at breakfast and the shower stopped working in the morning.

Wonderful place. Oozing character and comfort. The room was spacious and elegant. The food was delicious. A charming retreat and s beautiful setting. We definitely want to stay again.

Overall a wonderful stay. Had an excellent dinner and breakfast. Only issue was that the Wifi was down during the trip, forcing my partner and I to actually talk to each other rather than playing on our phones.

Excellent country hotel for a stay for couples, beautiful restaurant and bar and lots of charm in the hotel overall

The hotel, bar, restaurant and breakfast were all excellent. The only negative experience we had was that we had a room (102) close to the reception and bar. After midnight we heard a lot of people talking very loud (I guess after the bar closed). Sadly the staff did not tell them to keep their voices down. It continued for at least half an hour and kept us awake. Otherwise our stay would have been perfect.

Make sure you book a table in the bar for evening food......staff were very busy the night we stayed as holding a wedding

We just stayed two nights and we thoroughly enjoyed it It was very friendly with friendly staff and very nice food It had a very welcoming atmosphere a most amazing garden where one could just sit have a drink a coffee or relax and read and enjoy the peace.We will return .Marie O' CALLAGHAN.
