Boundary just had a warm and welcoming feeling as I walked in. The bedroom was excellent value for money, as was the breakfast. really tasty!

Unfortunately it was noisy due to the wedding that they had on. After the wedding, even though the music did stop at midnight, there was some sort of noise in the hotel afterwards, noisy pipes maybe? Anyway, by the time that stopped it was about 1am. Also because we had to shut all the windows because of the noise it was incredibly hot, no air conditioning. Not somewhere I’m going to be booking again.

Only stayed one night. Hotel was clean quiet and comfortable.

It was a great place to stay, having the pub next door was a great bonus. We were greeted with great politeness and everything explained. The room was massive, Queen size bed nice comfortable. The breakfast was great value for the price, full English, cereal tea/coffee, juice and plenty of toast. So all in all i would recommend.

It appears that there in no body onsite after the pub closes. This cored a problem when the fire alarm went off a 2am and it took 30 minuets for someone to arrive and deal with the fire fighters and another 30mins to switch the alarm off as we waited outside in the cold.

One deficiency is lack of an elevator. We had a heavy bag to lift up the stairs. Otherwise our experience was pleasant. Hotel room was very spacious, with a sofa inside, and a king size bed. Parking was free and convenient. That's a restaurant and pub. We went there mostly for sleep so can't comment on other facilities.

I was unable to stay at this place as due trains delays , they were unable to accommodate my arrival time. They still took the payment for the room tho. After several phone calls to the hotel very poor service.

Very good for the price. The room was clean and had everything you need, the only minor issue was a bit of damp around the window from condensation. Only paid £48 so good value for money.

The hotel room was ok and spacious. Shower gave not so much water. But in general it was a rundown place. We had to wait for food and breakfast long times. At breakfast some plates were not clean. The juice containers were almost empty. And on our departure date we couldn’t get breakfast because of a problem in the kitchen. While having breakfast there was the constant noice of the vacuum cleaner. When mobbing the floor, the employee hardly cleaned the mob in the bucket. The general appearance of the restaurant is poor. The employees were friendly but could have a course to become more service orientated. The carpet on the floor was dirty. The floor tables were “sticky” All in all a very bad experience

I was only there from around 4pm Friday 3rd Nov until 8am the following morning. My brief stay was pleasant and comfortable and the staff very friendly. I would not hesitate in returning there if coming to the area.

Parking was fine, and the room was good. Bed really comfortable. However, breakfast was a disaster. The guy on duty was unwell and should not have been serving food. There were no glasses for juice, no pastries, no cutlery. Service was slow and the cooked food was average. Not an incentive to return.

This is a great stop over place to stay. Fits the bill all around. Good price, comfortable, clean and warm. Shower wasn’t the best. Not as powerful as we are used to, but overall great value for money

Easy to find , on arrival Oliver, the manager, made us very welcome, explained all the details of our stay, meals, room access etc. the family room was perfect, large and spotless. The room itself, even with all of the windows open was still very warm, a fan was provided but hotels going forward need to start looking at air conditioning especially as temperatures continue to rise. The menu choice was extremely good value and we were pleasantly surprised when are food arrived, no long wait, hot and plenty of it. The serving staff were very helpful and when we requested a well chilled bottle of white went out of their way and the wine came in an ice bucket with plenty of ice. The shower in the bathroom left a lot to be desired, very weak flow, and the sink had been fitted by someone of very short stature, virtually impossible to stand and shave at., plus the plunger washer was missing so the sink would not fill with water. A few annoyances, but all in all a pleasant stay with freindly and helpfull staff

Lovely and clean accommodation, quiet location, no motorway noise, and not far from major routes. Bar and restaurant next door for drinks & food after a day out, with good prices on meals.

Nice quiet location

We booked the family room whilst on a trip to the Peak District a little further than we thought it would be but thats because the map shows as the crow flies and the roads arnt very fast in that area so took 50 mins from dovedale. The room is a great space the kids have a little separate bit with two singles and with a second tv so gives mum and dad a bit of piece , shame it doesn’t have a proper door or even a curtain so can’t hear the tv but otherwise great idea. The room was very nicely presented better than a lot of travelodges. The bathroom was a little dated but clean and tidy. Tbh my only gripe would be the shower was a bit useless as no power behind the spray but very commen in hotels they just seem to not have the power when multiple occupancy. Otherwise perfect place for a budget stay. The adjoining pub was fab, nice food and decent prices and they had a pub quiz which was fun. For the low price we paid I was really pleasantly surprised. 👍👍
