Beautiful hotel in the heart of Vienna, walking distance to lots of lovely Christmas markets. Gorgeous decor, everything clean and adorable cot for our baby with gorgeous bedding and baby’s own toiletries.

What a fabulous hotel! The staff is amazing! From reception to restaurant, everyone is so pleasant and helpful. They make you feel at home! The location of the hotel is the best. 3 minutes walk to the State Opera and walking distance to most attractions.
Our room was street facing. A tram station is right outside but you could not tell when inside, the room was so quiet!
We dined at the Glasswing restaurant. I cannot say enough good things about it! The food was amazing! Michelin worthy!
The breakfast is not to be missed. We visited in the summer so we had beautiful mornings on the terrace.
The rooms are gorgeous! The bathrooms are spacious with double sinks. The toilet is separate which I liked.
However, outside of the hotel was a little different. People in Vienna are not friendly. We had come from Budapest where everyone was so welcoming and had a “our city is your city” vibe. In Vienna people have the “when are you leaving” vibe.
But this hotel and its people will make me go back to Vienna!

Felt like my every need was anticipated from the moment I walked into the door. Luggage & car swiftly accommodated, water & treats arrived in our room immediately, a 15 minute late checkout accommodated. Breakfast swift & the food included outstanding Austrian style dishes suitable for any tastes in delightful rooms facing the street. Very convenient to trains, shopping, historic sights, yet super quiet & safe. Danke

The hotel deserves all the praise it gets, a hotel made up of people who go out of their way to always be available, attentive and that makes a lot of difference. Everything is very new, the kitchen is excellent, the chef is very talented, the rooms are excellent, the bathrooms are very well equipped with amenities, the shower is excellent, in short, it's a great choice for accommodation in Vienna. Excellent reception staff, very attentive and competent general manager Mrs. Nicole.

New hotel, great size rooms, comfortable junior suite, excellent bedding and amenities. Excellent reception service, especially Mr. Nikola. General Manager Mrs. Nicole very competent and attentive. The weak point is breakfast. Very difficult to be efficient as it's a la carte, few options. Poor service from employee David, not qualified to work in a five-star hotel in Vienna. It was against the brand and the hotel itself. However, considering the cost-benefit ratio, this is a hotel that could soon reach the pinnacle of quality and service and become one of the best in Vienna.

The staff is amazing (Oana, Nikola, Iva, Laura- thank you!), the rooms are clean and well designed serving both form and function. The hotel size makes it feel very intimate. The lobby and bar area small so for those looking for a buzzy 'scene" this is not for you. It's for people looking for an elegant, special place place that is beautifully appointed, and takes care of guests with grace, ease and pleasure.

The Amauris was an absolutely lovely and delightful facility. It is conveniently located for shopping, culture and concerts. The staff -- every one of them -- could not be more friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is gorgeous -- contemporary, elegant and classy. The lounge and breakfasts were great. We cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay. We were there for 6 nights.

Newly renovated hotel in the perfect area to explore the 1st district of Vienna. Everyone was very nice and helpful our entire stay. The spa is not big but is a very relaxing space. The hydrotherapy pool was a great way to end the day. We did not use the gym but peeked in. Everything was new and it was well equipped. The shower can flood the bathroom a little if you like full pressure on the water. We just laid a towel down and it was fine. Beds were very comfortable, windows let in tons of beautiful nature light. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Lovely hotel in excellent central location so perfect for exploring the city. Everything within walking distance and city bus stop and in a safe area. Reception staff were extremely helpful with city information when we arrived. Room was clean and with excellent bathroom although room was too warm and air conditioning did not work. Breakfast overpriced although nice, but lots of nearby places to eat.

This hotel has a problem with its air conditioning. It is unable to cool rooms. Room 409 for three days was over 24 degrees I understand room 411 was similar 2 days later. After 2 days complaint and sleeping with the windows open, above the tram line, we were moved. In that room the temperature was around 20 to 21 degrees, without the air con working. We did not dare switch on the air conditioning unit. As it warmed up we opened the windows. We were told that because the previous occupant had the room warm it was not possible to cool the room down when we moved in. While not acceptable in a hotel of this class in any event for this to be the situation after 3 days is absurd. I will avoid the Relais & Chateaux group from now.

The location of the hotel was great, not far from public transport, the opera house just a 5 min walk, Belvedere 15 mins and city centre 15 mins.

Perfect location - about 3 minutes walk to opera and philharmonic buildings. Very helpful and pleasant multilingual staff. Hotel is a little bit dated, but still OK - because of location. Very good breakfast. Not a 5* hotel - I'd give a good 4*.

Location was good to commute in the city. It is a good spot where the hotel is not far from what to be seen. Service really average. Hotel is average for a luxury and relais et château. Really average.
