Some of the room facilities are outdated compared to a lot of hotels I have stayed at

Very good prices. Worth checking dining bookings ahead of your stay. We missed out although plenty of restaurants / clubs in Bathurst

The room (7) had a smell of wet old carpet. Not very nice. The commercial skip bins nearby stunk badly and the odor wafted (during the night) into the room making it hard to breath normally. Otherwise clean and a nice shower. Would have been useful for some visitor pamphlets as to what to see in the city. Value for money except for the stench.

Pub motel room

It was basic but excellent, pillows are the only thing I would improve.

Our stay at The Kelso was enjoyable. As a stop over on a trip it was basic but well equipped. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Room was very clean had everything I needed short walk to bistro great meals at a good price will stop there when I'm in the area

Beds should have been replaced many years ago the double bed was on a slope and so noisy so i slept in the single then there was the broken blind that i could not close completely so i had to put up with the outside lighting shining into my room once i went to bed ( No curtains on the windows ) and the AC filters fully blocked by dust/dirt .And being at the back of the hotel put up with screaming kids until after 9pm.

Well priced, comfortable room

I found a problem with our room, told them and they gave us a new room ,

street access was difficult the service and amenities and cleanliness were above reproach was a wonderfull place to stop in

The rooms are fine, and meals are available in the bistro in the evening (no breakfast). Unfortunately there is no Wi-Fi. The hotel is about 3 km from the centre of Bathurst and has on-site carparking, this was almost (but not quite) full on Saturday night. I didn't notice what types of shops are nearby, it may not be possible to buy food locally.

Although the property is in a convienient location, that is the only positive. The beds are well beyond their effective life, very uncomfortable able, window blinds are falling apart and dont blockout the outside light and the rooms are filthy. Carpet excessively stained, exhaust fan caked with dust as was all other surfaces in the room.

Overall pleasant. Just wish smoking was banned outside of rooms - could smell smoke. On Wednesday night could have been staff around tipster/ben near rm 1 smoking. Toilet seat rm1 is loose.

The room had everything i needed for my stay. V-good hot water and pressure. Rm 1 requires the correct toilet seat for that brand as its dangerous especially to those even a bit over weight. The aircon remote was useless as buttons were missing and no labels for buttons. Food is plentiful and great with good options and cold beer and very friendly staff. Heaps of parking. The bed was very comfortable. I'll be back.great value for money.
