The Vintage Retreat exceeded all expectations. Very welcoming, perfect for dining amongst friends. The location was perfect, nestled in a busy high street with everything you could ask for. Cheap Ubers into the city centre. Would already like to book for next year if available.

Not that it made a difference to our stay, but I enjoy a large mug of tea. So perhaps larger mugs. But that didn't impact our stay 🤣 just being nit picky.

We loved the layout and decor of this accommodation. Was so well thought out and had everything we needed during our stay. The bathroom facilities worked great, also the kitchen appliances and tv. The host was very welcoming over the phone and we were told we could contact if there were any questions. Beds were also very comfy. Couldn’t fault this stay as it was perfect for a weekend break and everything was made super easy to navigate.

Great location , on bus routes and only around a tenner for a cab back from the city center, very good host , we didn't meet but he texted on several occasions to touch base and see if everything was OK, the house itself is a little jewel and is in walking distance to tesco , off licence and take away aswell as a few nice cafe/restaurants . I would have no problems in recommending this spot to anyone .And just to mention host changed all bedding to featherless without any issues .Thanks again Patrick

Really lovely home from home will all facilities you could need. Not right in the city centre but regular buses at the bottom of the road made it really easy getting around and taxis weren't too expensive either. Our host was very flexible with our timings and went out of his way to accommodate us, we were very grateful for this.

Lovely property very homely with everything you’d need for a comfortable relaxed stay. Nice cafes at the end of the road for breakfast in the mornings. Taxi into town about £6-12 depending on time of day.

Property was very clean and cosy. Had everything we needed.

Great host very obliging and good communication.

Served requirements well. Really just needed a good place to sleep over night and more than delivered.
