The staff were so welcoming and helpful, the food was good, everything was at a reasonable price. Views were beautiful and the monkeys very entertaining! The location is really easy and we felt safe at all times.

The WiFi dipped in and out, and we could only find CNN in english on tv, but there's so much to do and see outside that it was only noticed at night and meant we slept for longer anyway so not much of a negative!

The best thing about the Green Hotel is the staff. They are friendly and helpful and courteous. The next best thing about the Green Hotel is the restaurant which always seems to be open. Great food and great outdoor space. The location of the Hotel is very convenient as its close to restaurants, shopping and temples and other neighborhood's. I have really enjoyed staying here.

Stunning views. Glimpse of the mighty Himalayan Mountains. Room was comfortable with a balcony and the bathroom perfect and hot water plentiful. All very clean. Friendly staff, eager to assist with heavy bags which was a relief as my back was acting up. Soya milk was available to go with the delicious coffee. The food was excellent, especially the Momo's and the cheese and tomato omelette. Of course the chai tea was delicious too.

I found everything wonderful. Possibly slightly faster internet.

This was a good value, well located hotel with delicious food and a fabulous and accommodating staff.

the only thing to be liked about the property was the location and the host. The host mr Tib Tsewsng is such a wonderful man. He was very helpful during the entire stay. on my last day I forgot my camera at the hotel and mr Tib was kind enough to hand me over my camera by walking almost 2kms even when it was raining so much. i want to thank him for the good gesure

The hotel does not have any room service . if you are thirsty at midnight and you have no water you will literally have no option for collecting water since the reception closes after 9pm and there will be no one to help you. The rooms aren’t that great either. there is no mirror in the room which I feel is a basic necessity. overall there is nothing special about this hotel the food wasn’t that great either. we ordered aloo parantha in the breakfast and it was very very bad.

Liked everything about it.

The location of the very near to the center of town and was convenient. The rooms of the hotel was spacious and clean. There was balcony and the view from the hotel was decent. The service of the hotel was very good and the staff was very helpful. The food in the restaurant was good. I had visited with family and all the family members enjoyed their in the hotel.

I am extremely happy that I chose Green Hotel for my 4 nights stay in Mcleodganj. The hotel is near the main chowk on Bhagsyu road making it a very convenient stay. For first time visitors it's good to be in the heart of the city as one can shop and site see at ease. First of all it's absolutely value for money. The rooms are comfortably large, clean and with a balcony that oversees the mountains. The bed was comfortable n clean. The bathroom clean with hot water. I asked for a kettle and the manager Jigme gave me one. The Green Hotel has a very warm restaurant with a cute little library with amazing books. Overall though the hotel is one of the oldest, it has character and is fairly well maintained. Jigme who looks after the property is very warm , friendly n helpful. He booked us a taxi and took care of our needs very well.

The hotel is like a Harry Potter puzzle . Very interesting building construction. To reach the rooms we have to first go down the stairs. So the stairs can be quite inconvenient if you're old or with any leg issue. But in a hill station we can expect a lot of walking n climbing. Tha balcony can have a chair. Could also have a clothes line to dry towels etc. Otherwise everything else is fine.
