On pictures the Betty looked elegant and we thought it was going to have a nice feel to it but unfortunately it felt through and through as a minimum effort of a hotel. The rooms, according to the check in staff, are of very varied quality depending on where they put you, ranging from sea view to looking into an alley in the annex, all within the same room category. No service mindedness what so ever, no one to help you with the luggage up the stairs to the lobby, no one to tend to you on the terrace, but worst of all, the pool area was filthy, with green algae or something that looked as it, on the tiles. Will avoid.

Great property in the Deco District. Staff is amazing and the food/bar is wonderful. Live music every night! There are issues with the layout that can be frustrating. Access for anyone with mobility issues could be difficult. Very similar to a hotel in Europe in that way. Beach access is so convenient!

It’s a very beautiful hotel. The staff went out of their way to be friendly. Nice rooftop pool with bar. Free beach chairs and umbrella for the beach. Nice park across the street. The area is very clean. Other hotel restaurants on the same block.

I really liked the hotel, and since this was our first visit to Miami, I was glad to be staying in a lively area like Art Deco. The hotel can use some upgrades though.

I loved my stay at the hotel! The staff were great. Shout out to Fritzner at the front desk and the Cuban lady in LT restaurant who were awesome!
I’d definitely stay again. Only area of improvement would be the beach chairs where the umbrellas are not opened which beats the whole purpose of sun protection! Other than that, loved my stay!

A short staycation for our 10th.,. The staff is excellent. Friendly, helpful, and polite. The hotel was charming, and the room was very comfortable. I would go back again. I am so happy we chose the Betsy for our short stay.

The property is in an excellent location on the beach with beautiful trees and flowers in view. However, the property is very old and difficult to get from lobby to your assigned room, including taking more than one elevator to do so.
