The whole experience. The hotel staff are decietful. They knew there hotel was infested with roaches all over the room and still checked us in. After telling staff I am not staying there at 12 am night when it’s late and I am 7 months pregnant after a day of traveling, I had to chase a refund for 5 days. I was ignored while calling, told the manager was not in, not coming in, and it ass a horrible experience. I finally get my refund initiated on the 5th day, and provide my feedback to the manager on duty, to my surprise he is well aware of the big issues, and asks me not leave a bad review on the property, as they are working on the issue. Sorry no can do! If you want a good review it’s earned, and they had so many opportunities to turn this experience around and chose to hide their hand. Don’t stay there, you will be bringing nasty things back to your home. Disgusting

I booked a room with my credit card. I had trouble on the road and arrived 3 hours after I wanted to. Upon arrival the person at the desk was rude and told me I was too late, that they thought I wasn't coming so they gave my room away. That was upsetting enough, I had to spend an hour finding another room. It was a horrible experience after a horrible drive which left me getting about 2 hours of sleep before needing to be at the airport. This should have been the end of the story, but then I become aware that they charged my card, well after they sent me away in the middle of the night. I now have been in a month long battle to get my money back and this extremely shady La Quinta Atlanta Airport North has said they would refund me and did not and now they are disputing my credit card company trying to say that I did stay there! So I'm still trying to get my money back to this day. My stay was supposed to be on July 24th. It is now August 21. 2024. I'm pretty sure they're doing illegal and shady things at La Quinta Atlanta Airport North.

The hotel was close to the airport and the free shuttle service was great.
The staff on our return visit was very rude and unhelpful. The lobby air conditioning was not working and the staff was unconcerned with customers needs. I requested a early check in, but it was denied at my arrival. The door key didn't work properly, asked for help, I was told just work with it, it will soon work. When we got inside the room, all of the towels was WET. I was done complaining, just stayed until I could leave. JUST UNPROFESSIONAL AS IT COMES!

Secure parking was full, overflow not signposted and staff did not advise of the option when checking in. Breakfast started too late for us (7am on a Saturday).

Loved the fact we could make a cup of coffee and that you provided shuttle back to airport. Especially so early.
Would have loved late night food at restaurant but it was available for snacks

The breakfast was great each day. The room was fine. There was not a card to put on the door for do not disturb and when I went to ask for one, they could not find one. I mentioned to them the ice machine wasn't working and it wasn't fixed the during the time we were there. But everything else was fine.

Staff was friendly.
Facilities are awful. Threadbare carpeting, TV remote had no back…batteries taped in. Lighting was very poor.
Heater & ac very loud. Toilet not efficient & very noisy. We ended up at Airport South instead of Airport North.

Close to the airport
International travelers are brought tot the domestic terminal where they have to take a airportbus who drives by the hotel again and finally arrives at the international terminal. This is a waste of time.

Shower didn’t have hot & cold labeled & was difficult for both of us to find the sweet spot where the shower was hot. Luke-warm or cold shower is not a great experience.
Bathroom area was tiny & no room to put your stuff.
Shuttle van didn’t show in 30 minutes at the airport so we took a cab for $20.

There were 2 elevators but only 1 worked. The congestion was frustrating.

The room smelled great and was a nice size. My room was near the ice machine and elevators. The hotel is very convenient to the airport-as simple as hopping on the highway and then getting right back off. I was very grateful for that, given I'm not too fond of Atlanta traffic. The "breakfast" is not appetizing to me at all. But it was there.
The parking is an extra $10 without a forewarning. Being charged a $100 deposit without forewarning. Somehow, my hotel key wouldn't work trying to get out of the parking lot, and that was infuriating because I was unaware that all I had to do was push the button, and someone would let me out. It sent me into a severe panic because I was in a rush. The flight time changed, and I needed to get to the airport ASAP.
The spare roll of tissue was under the sink (outside the toilet area) instead of being on the back of the toilet (there were no shelves where the toilet was.
The next day, only one elevator was working, and there were no signs or anything to tell you that was the issue.
It also may be time for a routine spray or to upgrade the pest control. We had a few additional tenants in our room.

every staff member we interacted with was so so nice, and the beds were insanely comfortable! everything in the room looked clean.
the parking situation sucked a little. it is a $10 charge to park there each night which is understandable, but after coming in for the night the two gated lots were shut off and we were told to park in the back lot which was shared with a restaurant and just seemed a little too sketchy (especially since we paid extra to park).

It felt good waking up in the morning going to the lobby and having breakfast ready for you. The location of the hotel was also great, right next to the airport and close to some restaurants for when you get hungry.
The one thing I didn't like about the hotel room is the showerhead, it would shoot the water so fast, and the curtains weren't low enough so the water would be hitting outside of the tub.
