Pics of the pool area we're misleading. Beds were not comfortable, homeless encircled the building, there were no screens on the windows.

The Ramada charged me full price for a room that I was unable to stay at because of location issue. I was 4 hrs from home. I came to Redding to take my states boards exam to become a CMA. Instead of switching my reservation from one location/Ramada to the other (located next to my test site, )they offered me a room for double price. I had to rent a different hotel chain down the street to be at my test site in the morning. I explained this to the Ramada staff, she said " I'm sorry"...a lot. I called when I made it back home to see if they could refund my money or give me some type of compensation for the location issue. I was told to call back and ask for Shirley at 9: 30 am the following day that she would be able to refund my the funds back to my card. I called at 9:30 am and I got Shirley right away. She was not nice and understanding of my situation. She in fact was patronizing and rude. I am a single mother of 3 children trying to better my life by becoming state certified medical assistant and I had to pay almost $400 for accommodations for 1 night. I am not trying to be a jerk, I may have like the Ramada and be giving 5 star review had I had a chance to stay. I can only rate on the staff that I dealt with first hand. No check in no charge is what my reservation email said

The jacuzzi was out and then being replaced there for the pool was also down, free breakfast could have been a little bit better but not bad right. Vending machine didn't give change for a $5, on a 1.50 bag of chips but that happens! LOL

Room wasn't clean. Used Diabetic test strips left on table from previous guest. Eww! No bathroom exhaust fan. Was awoken at 3:00AM to people arguing around us and repeatedly knocking on our door asking us to let them in, for 2 HOURS! Is this hotel a sanctuary for the homeles?

Pool was indoor heated. Small breakfast. Beds comfortable. Ice machines on every floor. Elevator not too slow. Snack and beverage vending machines

Hot tub out of order. My room ac was terrible and didn't cool properly on the 3rd floor. Coffee in breakfast room and hotel room was cheap and terrible tasting. No refrigerator in my room and no microwave. Paid quite a bit of money for the room

Front desk lady made racist comments about Mexican workers and how dirty they were. Bathroom smelled, almost like pee. Overall the room didn't seem very clean. The pool looked greenish and hot tub wasn't working. Breakfast was horrible, all the fruit was old and brused.
