fridge was not working

I loved being on the 3rd floor and having access to the club Happy Hour and breakfast. Also, I saw the most gorgeous sunset from my room which was a bonus!

All.

I tried to mover one reservation night by a day and the manager said she would let me know. Never was told and charged full rate for night moved. Reservation system was impersonal via Marriot. Made a mess of bookings.

No valet despite signs at the resort advertising one. No concierge to help with bags (arrived at 2030hrs after long 500 mile plus drive from Seattle.Told by receptionist that I could use the trolley cart myself,not sure what elderly or disabled people have to do. Bar/restaurant closes at 2100 and were unable to seat me at a table for dinner. Went back to my room. No wet bar in room only $5 water bottle and coffee. Also no snacks in room to buy. Next morning, discovered toilet wasn’t flushing, called desk, apparently a guest had flushed something down their toilet that had blocked whole wing. Eventually resolved after initially waiting for a plumber to come, then when he didn’t materialize, waited for another room I could use to shower as I wanted to clean up and start my 500 mile drive to Los Angeles. Finally the blockage cleared and I was able to shower in my room but only after cleaning the bath which I then discovered had black scum around the plug end (pictured) If this was a budget hotel this wouldn’t have been so disappointing but this was a $300 plus room. Also toiletries in bathroom are the large style, share with the next guest type dispensers rather than individual items for each guest ( personally I dislike this as your at the mercy of the previous guest’s hygiene)

The staff was above and beyond friendly. Looking forward to coming back.
