Mesmerising view from the property.
We visited on monsoon season and it was the best time! Breakfast and the dinner was very homely and tasty.
They should provide room heater coil based.

Das Tamarillo war einer der schönsten Aufenthalte, den wir in ganz Indien hatten. Die Unterkunft ist ein altes koloniales Gebäude und sehr schön in einem Garten gelegen. Frühstück und Abendessen kann man auf der Terasse mit Blick auf die Teefelder geniessen. Auch sind die Katzen des Besitzers ein absolutes Plus. Wir wurden sehr willkommen geheissen und uns wurde bei Fragen immer geholfen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

A lovely place to stay, simple room with very comfy bed. Staff outstanding, as was the food at breakfast and also which was made for us at short notice for dinner. Quiet and beautiful surroundings.

Pictures looked promising but .... (read the cons)
Poor staff behavior. Turned from super friendly to extreme rude angry call tone in the days of talking to them despite being polite about this.
I could not visit the stay because of car problems. Staff promised full refund (verified multiple times on phone that day). Staff waited for money to be deducted and kept delaying my refund for 12 days. Finally now they are rude and saying it's a 100 percent forfeit. Sorry with this attitude this doesn't make this specific location a pleasant holiday home and staff choice for any of my future trips to the area.staff may have saved small money but lost long term business with this behavior

The communal outside space was lovely with great views. The staff were helpful and attentive and provided dinner each evening which was good as this property is a little outside of town.

The Scenery from the property was simply amazing.
Full Marks to Staff and Owner. The hosts were very friendly and helpful especially Mr. Manjunath.

Everything was perfect especially breakfast.I never had such a tasty food in my entire life.The view from the hotel was mind-blowing.The staff were very friendly and cooperative.The chef at this hotel is excellent.

The best part of this property is the staff and the owner of the place who really make you feel at home. An excellent view from the property adds to the charm of the place !

Very friendly and helpful hosts (Owner Mr Nagaraj and manager Manju, caretaker Mangal). The chef Moses prepared a sumptuous, homely breakfast and dinner. Beautiful location and cozy place, with nice green views.
Would be nice to have bicycles to go around nearby.

This property is far away, only 1 breakfast served everyday , no lunch at all, very few dinner options. It’s more like a home stay than hotel. Only 4 rooms, no reception, no housekeeping, staff of 5 run the show. Bathroom vey old and full of fungus. No flow of hot water. Bedsheets dirty , towels unwashed and look dirty. Absolutely no for family with kids.
Bathrooms dirty, bedsheets dirty and smelly, rooms smelly, doors all jammed. Problem in electrical socket for charging.

2. The staff (quite friendly and respectful)
3. The food (limited menu but delicious)
4. The fresh tamarillos (we’ve had these in NZ and it was the first time we had these in India)

There was a bit of an occasional smell of sewage that seemed to come into the room we stayed in and for some reason we didn’t understand, the ventilation fans were disabled.
Some stains on the bedsheets which made it look dirty (which the staff might have replaced if we had asked but we didn’t bother)

Amazing view .. great food and hospitality. Mr Manjunath was very very helpful from helping us settle down to even arranging transport to drop us back to the bus stand. The view is worth paying for , we loved it so much that we didn’t want to leave the property and just relax .
Toilets could have been a little cleaner.

Beautiful property , lovely terrace with an awesome view of the Tea Gardens . The food was home cooked and delicious . The staff was courteous and very helpful . It was close to Lawrence School so we had no problem in attending the Founders Day events . A wonderful place to stay .

Location is very nice ... mountain view attracted me very much ..Owner Nagaraj sir and manager manjunath was very cooperative..hospatality is very appreciable.camp fire arranged by the owner gave us a different experience.. i would like to express my gratitude to chef ..Thank you All for giving us a pleasant stay..

Exceptional breakfast.. Very good taste, hygienic, delicious breakfast provided by the hosts. Special mention for Mr Manjunath for his outstanding hospitality.

Nothing to say nagative. Amazing place to stay @ Ooty with family.The staff Madhan,Manju are very co operative and friendly.Thanks Syam for the ADiPoLi breakfast and salute to Mr.Nagaraj for keeping your property so beautiful and green.Overall it was a great experience.
