This was our second stay at this amazing home and it won’t be our last. The house is awesome as well as the location. The house is fully stocked so you can stay in and enjoy the pool and view or walk to some amazing restaurants.

Beautiful house, with a beautiful view of Carrizalillo Beach. We felt very at home here, all the needed essentials are provided, the indoor and outdoor furnishings are comfortable and well placed. The location is perfect, short walk to restaurants, cafes, shops and the beach or a short taxi ride to the other beaches like Zicatela where there are many bars, restaurants and shops. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The pool is beautiful and the whole family enjoyed it! We were 6 adults and 3 teens, we had pleanty of space.

The house, pool, and location met all of our expectations and then some. Not only is the house beautiful and comfortable, the walkability to beaches and nearby restaurants and shops makes for a stress free visit to the area. From early morning runs on Playa Bacocho to surfing at Carrizalillo and dinners on the Rinconada there was something for the whole family!

We had a wonderful experience, we traveled both north and south to some small secluded beach towns that were very authentic and pristine.

Beautiful property in a lovely part of Puerto Escondio overlooking one of their best beaches. The villa was extremely spacious, clean, with everything you need. The check in was easy with the staff always attending every need and very accommodating. My friends and I would definitely stay here again.

We had the BEST time. As a group of 11, we felt that we had plenty of space to spread out. With the palapa, we were never on top of one and other. In fact, the space exceeded our expectations for space! Making meals for 11 was easy in the kitchen- so many tools and place settings for 11+ people. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you John!!

Siempre al pendiente de lo que necesitamos, super amables Lily y John!, el lugar cuenta con vista a la playa Carrizalillo y vale la pena. Nosotros fuimos un grupo de 9 el espacio nos quedó perfecto y volveríamos a ir. Cerca quedan restaurantes, tours, renta de motos, bicicletas, el super en taxi está a unos 4 minutos todo accesible.

What an amazing experience. The house is exactly as advertised and John couldn’t be a better host. This was our first trip to Puerto Escondido but it won’t be our last. While we enjoyed just sitting by the pool and looking at the beautiful views, the town was also a blast. Great food and the people we friendly and accommodating. We have had a few issues with short term rentals in the past so I had some apprehension but not this property. It exceeded our expectations. Thanks John. We will be back.

When we first entered the villa it was unreal how beautiful everything was. The view of the playa is incredible, the villa itself is stunning and the backyard is magic. John is a super host, he answered fast and was always happy to help us with everything. We couldn't ask for more and we would gladly recommend this stay to anybody. The closest beach is about 5 minutes walk, it is a bit far from the main town (45 minutes walk) but there is a lot of cheap taxi and some great restaurants around. Eight of us had the best family vacation here for 10 days in February, no one wanted to leave.The house is spacious, clean and perfectly set up with amazing views and a great pool. Typically, we go to all inclusive resorts and this was our first time renting a house and fending for ourselves in a different country. We were curious as to how we would like this type of vacation and it far exceeded our expectations! There are two beaches close by, the one you can see from the property, about a 5 min walk away and another one which is about 10 min walk. The second one we would go down to in the mornings and walk the length of it, beautiful sand, crashing waves and hardly anyone around. We had intended to cook a few of our meals but with so many different restaurants such a short walk away we ended up eating all of our dinners out. The meals at these places while inexpensive, were great, so much flavour! You don't need a vehicle here, we did walk a lot but as it does get quite hot we took quite a few taxis which were so inexpensive and very easy to find. John was great right from the first email, I was impressed with how quickly he responded every time to any questions or concerns we had. John also helped us organise transportation to and from the airport which was greatly appreciated. We have recommended this place to friends and will definitely go back! Villa Vista Hermosa is a beautiful home that you will absolutely love. We had an amazing stay in Puerto Escondido and I would not want to stay anywhere other than this property if, and when, we return. The house is very spacious, affording everyone ample space to stretch out, relax, and enjoy the amazing views and scenery. The yard is impeccably landscaped and the pools are sparkling blue and well-cared for. The house staff, (housekeeper, gardener, pool service) were very personable and friendly, always willing to chat but otherwise went about their business tending to the property. (Frederico the gardener is there every weekday morning cleaning the yard and the housekeeper and pool man are there M,W,F for part of the day.) We couldn't have been happier with the service. John and his wife were gracious hosts, always available to answer questions about the community and local attractions. We were very pleased with their hospitality. Their dogs GiGi and Lua like to wander onto the grounds whenever they are around, ( if you want them to,) but if you don't John will make sure they don't bother you. Overall, we could not be happier with our stay and look forward to returning to this lovely property. We highly recommend it.

Wow what an amazing time we had. I can't say enough about the house, we were a large group of (8 adults and 4 kids). We used the main house and it was even better than we imagined...so much better than the pictures! The four bedrooms are all very large, indoor area as well as outdoor areas were so spacious and the absolute best part was the view. The ocean was right below us and pool area was so relaxing. The kids loved the pool as did the adults but the beach is right below so the option of both was just so convenient. Close to restaurants and bar everything is at your doorstep. We definitely hope to return, thank you John and Lily (who were so helpful and accommandating)...your home truly was a piece of paradise.

I love this house. The pool, the view, the location; it's all perfect. There's not much reason to leave, everything you need is there. Including the great little beach at Carrizalillo just a 5 min walk away. The hammocks and charcoal grill are a great touch too, and got a lot of use. John and Lily are great hosts. I will come back as often as I can.

This was our first trip to Puerto Escondido and we were very happy that we chose Villa Vista Hemosa. We rented the main house and there was more than enough room for all five of us to spread out and not feel crowded. The house and grounds are just as nice if not better than they are in the pictures. Sitting under the bougainvillea watching whales and dolphins swim by was not a bad way to spend the day. The rinconada and beach are an easy walk from the house and there are several excellent restaurants on the rinconada.

Nous avons séjourné à la villa en janvier 2017 et je dois dire que tout était parfait. Les lieux étaient propres et entretenus régulièrement. Les propriétaires sont disponibles pour répondre à nos questions et nous aider au besoin. Les lieux sont très sécuritaires. La villa est spacieuse et bien adaptée pour recevoir un grand groupe comme le nôtre La vue sur la baie est splendide et que dire de la superbe piscine ! Je m'ennuie déjà... Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour et les beaux souvenirs que nous en garderont !
