Beynac has long been one of our favourite spots to visit in the Dordogne so we were delighted to find this wonderful house with its perfect views - medieval village & stunning castle climbing above, glimpses of the river and valley of the 5 chateaux below us. Our rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean and full of character. A very well-equipped kitchen and utility room and a beautiful dining/drawing room (shared with other guests) plus a wonderful terrace and garden complete the extensive facilities. As well as a family suite in the main house, we took the separate 'cottage' in the grounds which was delightful and, again, came with incredible views and its own little garden area. We felt warmly welcomed and looked after by Lorena and Plomb and appreciated their help during our stay. La Source is most definitely on our list of places to visit again as soon as we can.

Fantastic location. Lovely gardens at the property and comfortable rooms. Fabulous and helpful staff. Extremely charming house easily walkable to center of town. Good parking. Fun to meet other guests. Excellent common areas and commodious kitchen which is well equipped.

What an amazing place! We felt like royalty from the moment we arrived! Plume greeted us warmly and showed us around the house and all its facilities. We were open-mouthed! The house had been decorated with taste and no expense spared. Just perfect in every way. And the view out across to the castle was sublime. Totally calm and peaceful above the noise of the road below. Wish we could have stayed there for ever!

The home was beautiful and so comfortable! Lorena met us and did a great job of orienting us to Beynac and suggesting restaurants and activities we enjoyed. The location was perfect with a private parking space and a view out of the bedrooms of Chateau Beynac. The town is more quiet than some of the others on the Dordogne, but it was very peaceful and was in a good location to view cave painting sites. We did not want to leave, but had to move on to our next stop. We will definitely be back.
