Lovely property in a great location. Close to the city but with the feeling of being away from it all with countryside views. Owner kindly posted back an item of clothing one of our group left behind.

It was a beautiful, fully equipped house. It really is a home from home. We wished we could have stayed longer. I would book again, regardless of the little fact the hill walk back was difficult for little legs. Easily solved - a taxi! I'll know for next time. Only because me & the children had done so much walking around exploring during the day our back & legs were aching by that point.! The walk into town is lovely. Bath & the the house are a lovely place to be. We enjoyed our stay at the house, & the bus tours, worthwhile! Thank you.

Could of been a bit cleaner and we had a leak in the kitchen ceiling

Good location, space and comfortable stay for a couple of days break close to the historic city of Bath and directly on the Bath Skyline Walk with excellent views over the city and surrounding hills. Good choice of movies available on disc with Netflix also available.

Living areas and bedrooms generally good but cleanliness let down by attention to detail in critical areas like the bathroom and kitchen. The washing machine and dryer were full of laundry and the freezer had no free space as it was full of food/ice. Dirty pan left in the dishwasher.

Lovely lodge. We had a problem with the television and the owner came immediately. Would visit again. A nice walk into Bath, taxi back though as that hill seemed endless. Beautiful views over Bath

Nothing really although it is up an extremely steep hill walking down was easy and after a night out it was only £6 for the Taxi

The whole house was amazing. Very pretty, quiet, fully equipped with electrical stuff,utensils and freebies like tea,coffee, brekkie food. The view over the Bath is stunning. Surrounded by nature, Bath Skyline. The host was very friendly and helpful. One of the best accommodations I have stayed so far. Definitely recommend if you are in the Bath. Will come back in the future.

Loved most of the stuff. The only downfall if I need to add anything is 25min walk to the city centre.The house is one the hill but not such a big problem for a young or active person or if u want to drive.

Authentic lodge house. Very clean, cosy, warm, nicely decorated, great location.

Being able to park near the lodge. Great views from my bedroom window. The lodge kept quite warm apart from the lounge. Comfortable bed . Nice to have a selection of towels. I do like white towels much better then coloured ones. The shower was lovely to use. There were some beverages to choose from in the kitchen. Nice selection of interesting art books to look through and plenty of dvds to choose from. Nicely decorated with interesting paintings, photo prints and pictures on the walls. Easy to walk to the shops if you dont mind walking its worth doing especially for the views. The hill back is not so nice its quite steep but could get a taxi for the return journey. This lodge is well worth staying in when visiting Bath.

Didnt like the gates at first. If you don't concentrate and stay in one position for a while in the way of them with your car you'll get trapped. There didnt appear to be a sensor to keep them open. Luckily there was a second person in the car that could get out because I couldn't . They could get to the inside gate box to enter the code so the gates would open so I could move the car. They generally do stay open for quite a while. The other thing was it did get cold in the lounge as the radiator was not on maybe because of the leather sofa in front of it not sure. The rest of the house was lovely and warm when the radiators were on.
