Rooms are very comfortable, breakfast was an excellent spread with everything you could possible need, maybe better quality/fresh juice would be good. We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food was beautiful, best steak I have had in a while.

After a long drive we arrived 15mins prior to check in time and staff made a big deal of enforcing the 2pm check in. I said that’s fine & asked if I could start the paperwork, I was given another staff member who advised checkin was 2pm. We sat down & waited for our room, we felt like they were just making a point & we were given our room at 1415. We have travelled the world and never had such a cold welcoming. There were twice as many staff in the bar/restaurant as there were customers yet to get someone to take your order for afternoon drinks was near impossible. I asked 2 staff members who were walking past me where the bathroom was and they laughed and kept walking. Some staff really need retraining in customer service/service skills.

It was convenient for our visit to Sun City, just half an hour away. It was luxurious, and the staff were most helpful and attentive. A lovely stay.

The location is away from the city buzz in a small town, so you get to relax and unwind. The cleaning stuff (Amukelani) is a nice lady.

The stuff seem overworked. From the restaurant to the cleaning stuff, service is extremely slow slow and poor quality for the hotel rating and price. Skeleton stuff during festive season while you still charge festive prices does not make sense. I requested a cot on booking and it was confirmed, but I didn’t get any cot, no heads up no apology. At least let the guest know so we make other arrangements. Restaurant food is just below par, they are not keen on serving food as advertised on the menu. They give you other suggestions, it seems they can’t really make the food they claim. The hotel is poorly maintained, some areas look deserted. For a five start rating this was absolute daylight robbery. There is no indoor play area for small kids or just any form if entertainment. The rating should be taken down to three star.

The room service was bad we didn't get what we ordered and the next day it arrived 6 hours late.

Its was a great experience staying at Royal Marang Hotel.

I didn't see anything that I didn't like, I loved the Place.

On Saturday night, I had dinner and my expectations were not met because I waited for almost an hr to receive my food. But I understood , because they “ never ) expected a lot of ppl coming in for food.

SOCCER TEAM PRACTICING THERE TOLD US WE WERE NOT ALLOWED TO WATCH THEM PRACTICE . WE DIDNT EVEN KNOW WHO THEY WERE. ITS NOT THEIR FIELD, ITS THE HOTELS FIELD. ALSO, NOT MUCH TO DO AT THE HOTEL. THE WI FI WAS INTERMITTENT, NOT A HOTEL I WOULD RETURN TO.
