E' un ostello, sì, ma... è ben di più! E' stata l'ultima struttura del mio viaggio in sud Africa con un gruppo di 7 persone, e a tutti è piaciuto alla grande. Abbiamo soggiornato nelle 4 camere (non nella camerata da 6, che quindi non posso giudicare), di cui solo una aveva il bagno interno alla stanza, ma gli altri hanno potuto usare 2 bagni messi a disposizione per noi (non c'erano altri ospiti perché la camerata era vuota) quindi tutto ok :) il posto è un'oasi all'interno di un quartiere sicuramente non facile, ma che, se esplorato con i tour organizzati dai ragazzi dell'ostello, permette di vedere uno spaccato di Sud Africa che non dimenticherete. Il gruppo ha apprezzato, oltre alla pulizia delle camere, la zona comune (con biliardo e biliardino e le sdraio per rilassarsi) e la gentilezza dello staff :) grazie!

Lebo’s backpackers is not a simple hostel, it’s more a family and a community. Located in Soweto township offers you the change to get to know this important part of jo’burg. Staff is super friendly, rooms are big and clean with a lot of common space, the food is very good and freshly made, the tours are a must to be done. Truly reccomended!

The receptionists were amazing. The place is very clean. The security guy that helped me when I had to go park my car at night was also amazing.

Ostello nel cuore di Soweto, struttura bellissima con una giardino antistante molto grande. I tour proposti sono estremamente interessanti, e permettono di conoscere la realtà della township. Cucina proposta molto buona e tradizionale.

Al nostro arrivo non c'era acqua corrente e il blocco é durato fino al giorno dopo. Ho dovuto richiedere un secchio d'acqua. Il giorno dopo comunque tutto é tornato alla normalità

Great accommodation, we felt at home!! The atmosphere and all their staff are great. We also went on a history and cooking tour, highly reccommended if you want to get to know about the country in depth. Matshidiso the cook was so kind to us!! We absolutely loved the cooking experience and the food we cooked. The place is safe, we had a walk freely in the area. Very good transfer service to the airport and no problems with loadshedding. Worth going there.

Our safety was a concern even though the staff assured us it was a safe area On the Saturday of our stay there was a funeral nearby Roads leading to the establishment were blocked by people who were attending the funeral, getting to the establishment was a mission. Biggest fear was the high chances of being hit by a stray bullet as it seemed that everyone there had a gun Multiple Gunshots were fired throughout the night until early hours around 1am But overall the establishment is beautiful Breakfast was horrible, it was cold & disastrous nje

I was really blown away by the stay at this accommodation. It honestly felt like I was in paradise. I would come again just to relive the experience.

staff are amazing and friendly, I arrived after midnight and the lady was waiting for me, rooms were tidy and clean, comfortable beds. they run some activities and tours, which is helpful. it’s quiet and relaxing in the evening and perfect for working too. food are fantastic.

The right address for visiting Soweto, with great staff, which will organize a bike or tuktuk tour with experienced guides around the township. A very clean hostel that goes out of its way for its guests, organizes evening gatherings and prepares delicious local food.

The place had all I needed. I also wanna thank the staff they're welcoming. I wish I could mention the name of the lady who helped me👌. May god protect and bless her.

Definitely the best place to go in Joburg. Soweto is a nice area where people look after you and share with you their stories. The Lebo's arrange very interesting cycling tours. The staff is very kind and helpful, the food is great and healthy. I highly recommend that place.

To be honest I didn't like everything the room that was given to us was near the toilet and too much noise was going on from the night till the morning. So it wasn't pleasant for me and my partner he really felt uncomfortable
