Absolutely fabulous …we had the family room and it is large with terrace and shared kitchen. Owners very very lovely. So close to everything in town. Need to come back

The location is wonderful,very close to the main Street for easy walking in the town. Many shops and restaurants about. The owner gave good recommendations for wine tasting and restaurants in the area.

The location and the rooms. We were two minutes from the centre of town and it felt safe enough to walk back at night.

It was a bit noisy at times, even later at night, as other guests had to pass by our room to get to their rooms and access the kitchen which was beside our room.

Quite possibly the best hosts I've ever had. What a treat!

Loved the hospitality, thank you SO much for a wonderful weekend, the accomodation is perfectly located right in town, the homemade muffins were delicious and the bed with a heater felt like it was giving you a hug at night :) Thank you, we will definitely come back :)

The place and its premises was pretty, and the couple who own and run the place were very nice and extremely helpful in many ways.

The room was a bit small relatively to what we had in other places, and could use a bit more space (shelves, a table, etc.) to put and arrange stuff such as the coffee corner and personal belongings.

It was a quaint room that we stayed in. The bed was super comfortable The bathroom seemed to be newly renovated. There was mosquito spray in the room which was a huge plus, even though we didnt need it the night we stayed. Great that the room had a ceiling fan, which was silent. bliss! the building was over 100 years old, so had a lot of charm, and exactly what you would want in a historical town.

the lighting was very dim. We were going to a wedding so i needed to get ready in the room. The vanity didn't have a mirror and the mirror didn't have a chair or a plug. so it was a little bit disjointed. I would have liked a place to sit and do my make-up and hair in good light. They did provide a good quality hair dryer, which was a bonus. No breakfast, but they did provide muffins and a tea/coffee station.

Hosts were so lovely and welcoming - lovely big bed, huge bathroom with fantastic shower. Great location right by the Main Street and secure parking. And an adorable dog, and homemade muffins left out for us!

Quite warm during load shedding but this really cannot be helped - we fully understand the limitations placed on guest houses etc at these times and know it can’t be avoided!

The hosts are a lovely couple. We were offered fresh milk and very tasty muffins at the arrival. They asked us to set the pin on their large world map to mark the country of our origin, as this is how they keep track of all visitors, and by the looks of it, they had visitors from all over the world. We were given great recommendations where to go and which vineyards to visit. We securely parked our car in the backyard. We also used their iron. We were told that we are free to use the kitchen and prepare food in case we decide to stay in. The house is a walking distance from the main street where all the coffee shops and restaurants are located.

Bed was very uncomfortable, as I have a bad back, it made it unbearable to sleep. There were tons of mosquitoes, however we were given sprays and mosquito repellent electric sockets. Also, the fact that toilet (WC) and shower is separated by a glass door only (imaging a small cubicle without a sealing or decent ventilation) made the entire experience a bit uncomfortable and not something I would like to ever have again while staying at a guest house.
