Expensive price in the food

The hotel is new and the room smelled really really good

The price was on the reservation for the trim was different than the one they gave us, it was more And they didn’t have freshly squeezed orange juice

Break first was great and everyone was hospitable

Amazing stay in a nice location of Medellin! 20 mins walking to El parque lleras where you can find pretty much everything you need! Also super friendly staff, helpful and willing to put you in the right direction regarding tours and places to go

the Pool was closed during my stay, but besides that all was perfect

staff are great. friendly and welcoming. although with me there was a language barrier but I was addressed politely and helped out as best as they could.

Our room with a city view was changed to a mountain view. They argued but in the end relented and upgraded our room to a suite with a city view. We are finding that often the room that has been described is not what we end up with on booking.com. It was difficult to find the wifi password. We had to ask a staff member for this information as it was not provided with our key or anywhere in our room. The restaurant had an excellent breakfast but it was very frustrating to get a glass of white wine with dinner. They didn’t seem to have any proper supply or choice or even know what the price was. Finally, we did some laundry and were shocked that they charged us over $135.00 for our small bundle. There was no price list in the room or online and so we made the assumption (mistake) it would be similar to what we paid in Peru or Mexico…$15 to $25 for three times as much clothes. This was a major “gotcha”.

Eduardo (desk clerk) was extremely courteous, patient and helpful regarding the fact that I lost my debit card shortly before I arrived to the hotel. He assisted me with checking in and insured that I was able to stay and purchase meals with my virtual debit card.

interior was nice, facilities were new, gym was better than typical hotel gym

the Wifi isn’t usable for work, the staff speaks very little English, limited selection for breakfast. also at check in they couldn’t find my reservation and sent me to a room where people were sleeping. will probably not stay there again.
