The owner of this property is very nice and helpful.

We booked the place knowing we will need to stop between Chile Chico and El Chalten, and it was a perfect choice: very clean, comfortable bed, hot shower. We did laundry (you need your own laundry detergent). The owner was super nice! He sent us check-in instructions via whatsup a day or two before our arrival.
If you rather stay at an apartment than a hotel, Casa En Gregores would be a perfect choice.

The property was easy to find based on the address provided. The communications were a breeze and Daniel, the owner, is very quick to respond. I like that there is a small community of guests at the property. WiFi, kitchen, bathroom, bed, living area, parking and all else were excellent. Daniel is an owner who is very involved in the day to day operation.

- terrible, in a bad area of gregores. in the whole neighborhood all houses are unfinished (bricks) and left as is, lots of stray dogs. I did not feel safe!!
- host was not very welcoming and very aggressive communication when we complaint about his exchange rate (different than the actual day rate) we arrived super late at night and needed a place to stay. otherwise we would have left. luckily we were just there for the night and left early in the morning.

the house itself is fine, a bit of an odd setup with single beds in the living room. access to a kitchen and laundry machine. owners were nice.
we actually didn’t end up staying the night (but still paid for the room) - the location is unsettling being on a street mostly full of half built homes and stray dogs that run at your car and bark at you aggressively. we were more comfortable staying in a hotel (parador hotel ruta 40) that felt more safe. this is coming from a couple that has done a lot of travelling in south america, southeast asia, africa, etc. house was also difficult to find. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

very nice apartment, convenient if you’re driving from Chile border to el calafate or the other way, right in the middle of the way.
everything was very clean and comfortable and the owner was super nice!

What a great experience in a place we didn't expected. We arrived in a frozen day and the house was already worms before arriving 🔥 the owner is a great guy and have an excellent service for all your needs. The house have everything you need. Hot water. Great WiFi. Kitchen and even a washing machine if you need. A perfect place to stop on the long way to El Calafate or Chile Chico

If you feel tired of driving and needs to recharge your batteries, this is the place where you can relax and have a good sleep 😴

The main reason for choosing this particular cabana was the fact it had a washing machine, and after a week on the road it was a VERY welcome addition - ESPECIALLY that the owner leaves it complete with washing liquid and fabric conditioner ready for a load. This and every other little touch, like the power converter, the netflix TV, the dryer, etc etc - EVERYTHING was thought out and provided in this exceptional cabana. The owner was super helpful - came and found us at the petrol station to show us where the cabana was, then left us to settle in before coming back to take payment. We were a little late leaving in the morning, but it was no problem - he just waved us off.
Despite being shown by the owner where it was we still struggled with finding it, but that was probably more our fault!
