We absolutely loved this place!! Beautiful place, clean rooms and friendliest staff! Very good experience in Sri Lanka (March 2022). We can definitely recommand this Hotel, especially when you are looking for a beautiful piece of quiet beach. We will be back the next time we come to this beautiful country. Thanks again!

Everything was amazing. Beautiful place, rooms, service. Beautiful pool, great food and drinks. Many thanks to the owner of hotel and all who took care of us. The owner is an exceptional person, willing, helpful, can arrange a lot of things for us. For example transport from airport and back, trip with tuk tuk to the local interesting place, dinner on the beach and the others. Thank you very much for a wonderful experience.

Just perfect! This hotel is excellent for all: couples and families. Host is very helpful, speaks in english fluently. All stuff is so nice, very open and kind. Tthe territory is very clean. The pul is perfect! It is a very private location but with all comfort. I definitely recommend it to visit! We loved it soo much! It is in top 5 all visited hotels in our life!

Good traditional breakfast.

This is a charming hotel with fantastic views from the top floor. The location is the best part along with the friendly and helpful team of staff. We were able to organise turtle watching and the whole vibe was very relaxed. Incredible value.

It’s very close to the jungle so there is lots of wildlife, but this is worth it for the beautiful beach and the mosquito net worked really well for us.

The pool and location were great. The food was also reasonably priced.

Honestly nothing was to dislike here. Just right.

Easygoing beach hotel, spacious room, nice but not over attentive staff, well kept pool, AMAZING beach, good location- 15 min. walk or short tuk tuk ride from restaurants (try Mango Shade!)

An ideal place for those who want to calm down, get away from the hustle and bustle and get closer to nature. The staff was very nice and helpful. Special thanks to the hotel manager and to Nipuna for making the stay pleasant.

The most relaxing place we have stayed so far in Sri Lanka. The building is simple and minimalist with the odd touch of Sri Lankan charm. The swimming pool and garden is beautiful with plenty of plants and trees to find natural shade under. This hotel is set outside of tangalle centre on the most beautiful paradise beach I have ever seen. The only problem is the currents are dangerous to swim in but if you turn left onto the beach and walk along you will reach medila natural coral barrier which creates a small lagoon you can swim safely in. The main waiter is really friendly and makes you feel really relaxed. I would also recommend walking up to the top floor roof area for a beautiful view of the sunset with the sea to the front and mangroves behind. Despite being in a quite area we managed to find delicious places to eat and drink along the beach every night. The hotel also helped us arrange a kayaking adventure in the lagoons behind the hotel. Please ask the manager to book for you, the man running the Kayaks was really kind and helpful and we saw monitor lizzards as well as large birds.

Although I appreciate the eco sentiment of the hotel I did miss having aircon although I was still able to sleep comfortably thanks to the ceiling fan. The WiFi was also a little bit hit and miss but worked well enough from the main lobby/restaurant area. All that being said this place is exceptional value and I would return again in a heartbeat to this paradise.

Very friendly staff, delicious food, wonderful pool. We would especially thanks to Nipuna, who is great with children. The location is quiet, pleasant to enjoy and explore.

The amazing location of the hotel, as it is located basically on the beach. The pool is so beautiful and spacious. The breakfasts were one of the best on the whole island! the staff was always helpful and nice. The restaurant served delicious food throughout the day. There was an air-conditioner in the room and a beautiful balcony. The bed was very comfortable with the net, so we were not afraid of the mosquitos. We could hear the ocean and it was so nice.

The road to the hotel is quite awful (for 3 minutes). Would be nice to have an information card with the Wifi password in the room, so there would be no need to bother the staff to call the hotel's manager. (the staff didn't know the password). We were asked to leave the room (the manager even knocked at the door) at 11 o'clock, as the other guests were coming, which was quite unpleasant.

Location and the beach are amazing, such a great location!! Also a great pool. All staff were super friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely nothing.

This is exactly the kind of place I was looking for. -The rooms were clean with a neat bathroom. -Doesn't have the chaos of a large hotel and because all the facilities are close by it is very easy to get used to the place. -The staff is very versatile, providing us with everything we needed. -The food was good and they prepared it quickly. -The beach was very clean and there weren't much people around so it was peaceful. The beach is also safe to swim with small blocks of coral to break the strength of the waves. There are small fish swimming about the area too!

-Water of the pool was little opaque. Needs more attention. Maybe it was the way it's intended to be. -The rooms were a little dark to my liking but I know there are people that prefer it. As you can tell, I'm nitpicking as this was a very enjoyable stay.

Away from the bustle. Lovely pool. Great breakfasts. Watching purple-faced lugars and birds from rooftop. Direct access to unspoiled beach. Lovely staff especially Nipuna who has temporarily lost his dreadlocks!!

Sea was too rough with strong undertow directly in front of hotel which meant a bit of a walk for safer sea swimming. Daily room clean instead of every other day would be nicer. But we had lovely 2nd floor room & balcony.
