De locatie van het hotel is erg prettig. Op loopafstand van Hyde park en Paddington Underground is nog geen 5 minuten lopen. Het is een betaalbaar hotel, wat prettig is als je het hotel enkel gebruikt om te overnachten tijdens je verblijf in Londen. De 24 uurs receptie is erg fijn en we konden al vroeg onze kamer in.

De koudwaterkraan van de wastafel deed het helaas niet. De warme kraan gelukkig wel. De waterdruk bij de douche viel tegen, maar gelukkig zijn we er geen hele week. Wat ons het meest tegen viel waren de vele trappen. Hierdoor is het hotel minder geschikt voor kinderen en mensen die slecht ter been zijn. Hier hadden we van te voren niet naar gekeken en dit is dus ook een leermoment voor onszelf.

Quarto e banheito super pequeno. Wi-Fi não funcionou em nenhum dia no quarto andar. Pedimos 1 cama de casal e 2 pequenas e veio 2 camas de casal. Café da manhã horroroso, sem opção de frutas e com produtos contendo lactose. Não possui elevador. Somente 1 espelho disponível para 4 pessoas.

This is not a four-star hotel. You'd be an idiot to think so. However my wife and I, both in our sixties, remember a time when people didn't expect chocolate mints on their pillows. It's a two-minute walk from Paddington on a quiet street, and yes it's a bit shabby but it's clean, tidy, and the staff are lovely. Plus it's cheap. For London, very.

You have to be warned that the Underground rumbles beneath you during the day, but that's part of the charm. It's completely quiet during the night, which is what matters. The 'breakfast' was the sort you'd get at a youth hostel in the 70s, so that might be a surprise to the soy-latte-&-gluten-free-biscuit set, but again, welcome to reality. Absolutely fine and for me, downright nostalgic.

L'hôtel est bien situé, près de la gare. En face d'un parc. Le ménage est fait dans la journée. Salle de bain et literie propres. L'hôtel convient juste pour passer la nuit sans plus.

Hôtel en travaux, non signalé. Pas de local à bagages :notre valise est restée dans le hall d'accueil accessible à tous. Le petit déjeuner servi en chambre: Café en poudre, lait périmé dans des sachets. Berlingots de jus d'orange, petits pains et croissants emballés dans un sac en plastique, 4 Babybel et barres de céréales froosty. Pas de chauffage, les châssis laissent passer l'air (nous sommes allés début mars).

Chambre minuscule, mal éclairé. Pas du tout conforme aux photos Bruit du métro toute la nuit et le bruit du frigo pareil. Petit déjeuner juste 2 buns et 3 yaourts servi en chambre car pas de salle. Hôtel à fuir!!!

The location was great since it was down the street from Paddington Station. It was a short walk to many gift shops and restaurants as well. There weren’t bugs that we know of! Doesn’t really compare to the general horrible experience we had at the hotel, though.

It was a complete dump. No hot water; shower was broken. Mold on the walls, stains on mattress and a lingering stench. The wifi barely worked at all and only some of the televisions were smart tv’s while others were hung crooked. The decor in the photos are fooling, it’s all crappy wallpaper. Tiny space barely able to walk around.
