The location is excellent. Very close to the center of town, making visiting the main attractions easy to get to by walking. Our host was responsive to queries and polite. The facilities was as advertise, plenty of space for a large family. The bathroom was nice and clean.

The kitchen was a bit on the small size, however, this is not necessarily a problem if one is planning to dine out regularly. It will do in a pinch for an evening meal. There are light sensors in the property to save electricity, which is understandable, but when it came to dimming and lighting up, it could be frustrating, for example, sitting on the couch, with the light dimming when you are reading.

Cleaning stuff on display everywhere. It needs to be stored at least in a cupboard and certainly not have hoover parts all over the mantle piece! In the back bedroom thermistor some sort of sensor over the bad that kept flashing pretty much all night so I didn’t exactly sleep well Also needs a better list of where things are kept (took ages to find the cutlery) and a better explanation of what the tvs can and can’t do

Spacious rooms. Comfy beds. Would stay again if we travelled to Lancaster in a small group.

Oven wasn't easy to work out. The manual was complicated

The owner used radicalise amount of room freshener spray to hide the real small of the house. First 30minutes it was nice and pleasant but during the night the artificial smell was giving us a headache.

The house was very spacious, modern decor, very clean, beds were very comfy, it had everything we needed including permits to park for free

absolutely the ONLY thing was the kitchen wall needed a coat of paint as the rest of the house was done to a superb standard

wished some cutlery was provided despite having all the plates and bowls. rooms didn’t have heaters but didn’t feel too cold

House (especially the kitchen) is obviously in a state of semi-renovation, which was fine, as it was very clean. It was basic, but perfect for what we needed. Wi-fi, the largest TV that I have ever seen. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk sachets, and even biscuits.

Main gripe was that the bedding stank of damp, and the towels were still very damp. Have had to launder all nightclothes on returning as they smelt of the bedding. Sheet hanging to dry on a coathanger in our room which possible explains the smell if that is how the laundry is dried.
