All was as expected. The microwave doesn’t open all the way due to poor installation but we worked around it.

This property was great! Kids and adults both loved the resort.

We have now stayed at Dunes through the resort and through the Raffias. We love dunes village. The amenities are awesome- water park, lazy river, kids activities, upgraded playground, beach. It’s awesome for rainy days and great weather. This condo was immaculate - very clean, with everything you needed to clean. It had a vacuum! The resort one did not and everything is carpet so it drove me nuts. The three bedrooms were spacious and beds very firm. The view was outstanding. Like all angle ocean front units the placement of the microwave and stove was not throught out and the microwave only opens part way- still usable. The kitchen is fully outfitted- but the knives aren’t very sharp. Bring food storage containers (there is not any). The fridge before it was filled kept thjnga cool not cold. Once we packed it - it was fine. The slider has a hefty duty lock on it which I appreciated with two toddlers. (Petrified of them climbing on the balcony). I read other reviews none of the 9 of us experienced any bed bugs whatsoever. The very mild cons- was needs some very basic upkeep from significant use. Repainting some door edges, new outlets(lose from overuse), and paint on baseboards. There were beach chairs, toys and a fan there for use (so appreciated!) I would definately stay here again, owners were responsive, amenities great for kids. Travelled tip- bring swimmers shampoo chlorine can be intense ! Enjoy your stay.

This was an excellent choice for our accommodations during our spring break trip to Myrtle Beach. The condo was clean and the beds were comfortable. There were a few slight odd things in the kitchen, like the microwave door not being able to open fully, the wheels on the bottom rack of the dishwasher were missing and one of the cabinet doors couldn't open all the way due to the oven sticking out. The washing machine is a stacking front loader and the rubber gasket was moldy. This was a great place to stay with children. The indoor pool area with multiple hot tubs, slides and the lazy river were great. The condo is within an easy walk to the beach. We loved our trip and look forward to going back!

This condo is nothing more than a high price motel 6. Owner knew fridge wasn’t working and didn’t disclose it. We went 3 days without refrigeration. Furniture is cheap junk as are the beds. Good luck.

This is the perfect place to come when you’re not sure of the Myrtle Beach weather. The indoor waterpark was fantastic as were the outdoor pools on the hot days. We enjoyed the fact that there was a restaurant on site and a gift shop. Would stay there again

Very disappointed. Reached out to the owners to discuss issues and received nothing but an argumentative stance. Cost us a lot of money having to throw out all our food in the refrigerator and our daughters medication. Had to replace our daughters medication and pay for it all out of pocket because our insurance would not cover another prescription in this short time frame. Had to go out to eat more times then we planned on because we had to throw out the food and couldn’t replace anything because the owners did not fix the refrigerator once they were informed it was broken. We did find some bugs crawling throughout the condo. The microwave does not open all the way, due to how they installed it. Making it hard to put larger dishes into it. Smoking all over the property, broken glass and trash thrown everywhere. Guests throwing huge parties, extremely loud music and yelling late into the night. Had to complain to guests services, which they then called law enforcement because things were so out of control. The beds were very uncomfortable, pillows very flat and uncomfortable.

Great location with lots to do for kids. Our family had a blast.

Overall we loved the property and the condo was the perfect size for our party of 10. As previously mentioned, we actually didn’t feel the beds were as uncomfortable as previous reviews mentioned. However, in one of the bedrooms one of us did have bites that would appear after sleeping.

The unit had a few minor glitches butl it didn't interfere with our stay. There were 10 of us and everyone loved it. We will be back next year. This place had everything you would want on a vacation.

We had a great time, location and resort was awesome. The unit how ever was very out dated, furniture and beds were extremely uncomfortable, the carpets were damp and the washer has mold in it, we put it on a clean cycle first but it didn’t help at all, smells really bad. The showers though were great, great water pressure. And the bed in the first room to the right has something in the sheets woke up two days in a row with bites all over me. Overall railing would be a D. Sorry but I’m being completely honest here. Dee

It wAs decent at best… pools and hot tubs were nice and the beach is always great… but the condo itself was just fair. Pictures of rooms made it seem nicer but the furniture was old and very uncomfortable the beds were like sleeping on the floor they were so hard and the kitchen could use new utensils and pans and the microwave lol whoever put that in didn’t know what they were doing it barely opened cause the door hits the wall. Overall we could deal with most but when you are playing hard all day in the sun and water you want a comfortable place to lay your head and that wasn’t the case staff was great restaurant was yummy ….. it was our first time here and probably wouldn’t chose again..

We really enjoyed our stay here. There is so much to do at the Dunes Resort. We had some small issues with the condo, but the property owners were quick to respond and take care of the issues. We would definitely stay here again!

Great venue for kids 12 and under!!!

I was hesitant to book this place, due to low number of reviews, but the chance more than paid off. We took two young children and two teenagers with us, and everyone agreed that our experience was wonderful! The weather was forecasted to be poor (which it wasnt--we got lucky) but HAD it been, there were plenty of indoor pool areas for the kids to be fully entertained. The room itself was clean and well stocked. Check in/check out was very easy. There are even activities for the kids to do every day (run by the condo). Outdoor chess and checkers, 4 slides, 2 lazy rivers, poolside bar, poolside Italian ice stand, volleyball, basketball, tennis court (you can borrow equipment from the front desk), ping pong tables, pool tables, etc. We had absolutely no issues at all. This wouldn't be my #1 choice for a romantic getaway (because let's face it--the place is totally flooded with excited, loud children--as it should be) but for families with kids--it's a fantastic option.

The property was just fabulous. Everything you could ask for and much more. Highly recommended.

Rufia and Frank were very kind and accommodating. The condo was large and spacious for our family. The resort itself was very nice, as well. Definitely recommend.

Access to two indoor pools with slides for kids! Wasn’t too crowded. Nice outdoor hot tub and easy access to beautiful beach. Condo was nice, and beds and pillows were comfy. Great location and not too loud! Nice stay!

Property was ok or atleast we thought in the beginning. About 3 days in we a clump of hair in the bed then we used a blanket for the beach and found a dead bug in the blanket. Also, there were roaches in the suite. After we saw roaches we were done! The staff were not very helpful and down right rude to be honest. The hotel as a whole is not bad because of the indoor water park but them roaches in the room just messed it up.

I came down with my 2 girl’s age’s 1 and 4 and my best friend and sister fora girls trip getaway! The place was nice however I was VERY UNHAPPY After I checked in to find out that the indoor pool area was completely shut down and would be for awhile and we would have to walk outside all the way in the Cold to go next door and get in there indoor pool area!!! Ok was told on the vibro manager that the indoor pool area was open she did not once tell me that there pool was closed and that I would have to walk in the cold with my 2 young daughters to get in the pool area!!! I would think it’s customary to tell a person that before they book the place! My kids and I literally froze going to the pool area across the parking lot and especially after being wet having to come back threw the cold!!!! I also was not happy with the amount of noise from the parking lot below up and the young people screaming and acting crazy! My youngest daughter woke up several times due to the rude loud people!!! This place was nice, but had I known all of this I would Not have stayed!!!

This apartment was amazing! As you as you come in it’s very clean and organized. The check in process was very easy and quick. Ms. Rufio was very nice and answered all my questions quickly. She made the check in process very easy as she sent me an email with everything I needed to do step by step. The location of this apartment is right in the beach. It is not ocean front but it is on the side which you do get a view of the ocean and it was not a problem at all. We did get to see some dolphins from our balcony! The kids absolutely loved it. It’s about a 10 min drive to sky wheel . There’s a lot of restaurants nearby and we loved absolutely everything about our stay in this apartment. Would definitely recommend to friend and family. Oh and the pools are amazing for kids and grown ups ! They have a lot to do for the little ones to play and slide. My daughter did not want to leave the pool area.
