This place feels like a 5star hotel plus. It snowed and they shoveled the walkway to my vehicle and they made a fire if you wanted one. The place is clean and well stocked and they were great about my service dog. It is in a nice neighborhood that is safe and super quiet. Love this place and highly recommend to anyone for their future trips to the anderson/Redding area.

This place was immaculate! Very stylish, Bed was super comfortable with great sheets! Lots of treats and breakfast fixings which was wonderful! Easy to find . Awesome place to stay !

We love this place! And we have stayed here couple of times now. It’s very convenient, very quiet and nice amenities. And excellent hosts!

The home, land, and property were beautiful and well kept. The owners were quite friendly, kind, respectful and went out of thier way to make our stay more comfortable. I was in the area due to my father's death, so I had to coordinate his memorial service along with the other financial and other legal responsibilities that needed to be addressed after his passing. This place was a great sanctuary during my grief and was a nice private venue to have family members over to share, organize, and talk things through. My husband and I would like to stay there again in the future.

This is a awesome place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. It had everything from wireless phone chargers to eggs and beer in the fridge. I’ll be back every year. I’d stay here over a hotel any day of the week. The owners are awesome too.

We came to Anderson to care for my aging mother. Two days after we arrived she passed away. We were so thankful to have a very comfortable place to stay! The Cascade is in a location nearby all there is to do in Shasta County. The rental had everything we needed and more!!!

The property is by the river and not far from both Shasta Lake and Whiskeytown Lake. Property owners were very accommodating.

The hosts Donny and Romy took every care to make sure that my husband and I were comfortable. The fridge and pantry were better stocked than any hotel minibar! Returning to a nice shower and an ice cold treat over their multitude of streaming services (Chromecast, Roku with Netflix, Prime, Youtube) after a long hike was sublime! Everything was well organized and of exceptional quality including the communications, electronics, amenities, bedding and towels. Location was very convenient to all the spots we wanted to hit: 5 mins to Safeway, 15 mins to Redding, a beeline to Lassen. Donny also offered recommendations unique to the area and the time of the week. If you are looking for a homely home near Lassen, you couldn't find something better than this!

If you prefer a clean and quiet place over a hotel (who doesn't?), this is affordable and close to every adventure you want to access. Donny and Romy are so hospitable and they want to make sure you have what you need, without intruding into your privacy. Plus the sweetest smelling, softest towels you will ever experience! Options for a great vacation experience for adults and kids is only a short drive away: Shasta Lake, Whiskeytown reservoir and waterfalls, Shasta caverns (breathtaking!). Redding has really good eateries and the famous sundial bridge and turtle bay. Factory outlets are just down the road from this home, if you like to shop. If you want to veg out and watch TV, there is a HUGE one, with more programming than you could ever want! I highly recommend you stay here and take advantage of the affordability of this home and spend an extra day or two exploring everything this area has to offer.

From the start I loved having a personal driveway, with a security gate if I wanted. The rental is super clean. With a good sized BR, personal kitchen, and bath, with shower. My favorite part though is entering the main/ tv room. A 4k curve TV, classic movie poster marquee, vintage wood burning stove, and disco light and bar give it a great feel. I recommend the stove in the winter. Just what I needed after a cold day on the river.Donnie, and Romy are the coolest. I look forward to coming back.
