Perfect accommodation for what we needed. The rooms were clean and tidy as well as spacious. The air conditioning was also very good.

The bathroom was spacious.

No parking and the small carpark across the road had time limits so no adequate parking and room quite small.

Loved that it offered a restaurant, bar, pokies, great food, pool table and the front terrace great too.

Needed a hairdryer in the bathroom.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was good.

The room was very noisy from the street and traffic and woke me very early. The car parking I was directed to was full all the time I was there.

We love our stay at this hotel so much! For travellers like us, the hotel location is perfect, it’s about 100m walking from the train station and there are so many eateries and stores to shop and dine! For Muslim travellers, the location also has multiple Halal eateries nearby, including a kebab store right across the street. We can’t find fault in this hotel, honestly. Check in and check out were super quick and easy, staff was so helpful and friendly. Left luggage storage is available and the Wi-Fi is fantastic. The hotel has an elevator, which makes it extra perfect for families with kids and elderly, or travellers with large luggage. Our room is sweet and simple, we really enjoyed the beds and showers. There are also a mini fridge and mugs with the basic complimentary tea-coffee-sugar combo, shampoo, soap and body wash. Our TV is huge and we love it! The extra plug points are also super helpful for us to charge all our devices and power banks. The hotel is basically located on top of a restaurant and sports bar, but trust us, it’s really quiet at night! If you’re travelling to the airport from this hotel, you can take a bus from in front of NAB/Chemist Warehouse and switch to another bus just 10 mins later (use Google map for details); because this only cost us about $4 to get to the airport instead of the $21 train ride! What a deal, right?

We have almost nothing to complain, really!

Location wise was good as we are surrounded by good food and about 1 min walk to the train station.

Could have spoons for coffee in the rooms and hairdryers would be a great help along with connection with netflix on the tv as watching local channels are very boring.

Kitchen staff denied to heat up meal for my little one. They said it is not for guests in the hotel. Staying in the hotel and not even getting to use facilities on the building made me really upset.

Location

I stayed there for 2 weeks but the housekeeping did not bother to change the sheets even when I placed the "please tidy up my room" sign. There was also some knocking on the door that I reported but the staff said there's no one knocking when they checked the CCTV. I was also not told on when they will give me back my security deposit.

bathroom exhaust not working, aircon barely working and dust clearly visible inside. sheets were not fresh. towels had hair in it. fridge had water leak inside. wardrobe shelves dirty, floor carpet not vacuumed. overall felt like a big let down in cleanliness.

Wi-Fi which did not work. I think they had a problem. Ditto the cable tv .

Meridian Hotel Hurstville is a good location at a reasonable price and with good access to the airport. There is a restaurant on site but it seems only Chinese. The room was adequate. The main drawback is lack of parking. There is a little carpark opposite the front of the hotel which is free after 6pm. Before 6pm you can only wait there for one hour.
