Girl trip to spend the weekend visiting a friend who had moved to Waco. We caught up and shared meals and table time all together. Hope your future guests enjoy the space as much as we did.

We loved our stay at the Movie House! The character of the house shines through with cute, updated touches throughout. We really appreciated the 4 bedrooms with THREE bathrooms! This is worth checking out!

We loved our stay here at Sweet Mavie house! The location proximity to all things Magnolia could not be beat. The property was super-clean and had all that we needed. The hosts are laid back and made an effort to make our stay as comfortable and easy-going as possible. We loved all the Magnolia decor touches, too! Thank you for a lovely place to stay on our couples getaway!

Lots of room and so close to every place we wanted to go. Would stay there again if we go back to Waco.

House was a good place to stay for our girls trip as there is plenty of seating in living & kitchen / dining room! Beds were comfy. Downsides were trash cans were full & stinky, dishwasher was broken & yard needed mowed & attention in back for mosquitos. Time outside was spent on front porch which have 2 nice rockers, a couple would have be nice. Neighborhood is not the best with some booming music when cars drove by but it didn’t really bother us much. Owner was responsive when notified of full trash & dishwasher but of course could only apologize. Overall, great proximity to various shopping / restaurants and home was comfortable.

Such a cute and cozy house. We will definitely come come back to stay again in the future.

This Sweet Home was cozy and comfortable and perfect for the three of us to have our own room and bathroom plus great gathering places inside and out. The neighborhood was friendly and an easy drive to many of the places we visited during our stay. Highly recommend Mavies!

This was my first trip to Waco and this property was perfect. It was super cute and spacious. Everyone had their own room! There was so much attention to detail throughout the house. Definitely would stay again! Thank you!

House was very open and inviting. It easily accommodated our group. House was very clean and had excellent towels, pillow, linens to make you feel very comfortable.

This property was clean and comfortable. It has been updated and the decor follows the Magnolias vibe. Size is great for a family as it has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed should we have wanted to prepare meals in. The owner was incredibly attentive as well. The only issue is the neighborhood has lots of traffic noise, loud dogs, and a train that passes through nearby.

We had a great time and enjoyed our house.

The house was just as described. My kids really enjoyed not having to share bedrooms while on vacation. The owner was very responsive and quickly answered all the questions I had.

We celebrated my sister's 60th birthday and the place was perfect! beds were comfortable and we had plenty of seating in the living room and at the dining room table. Definitely would stay again if I ever go back to Waco.

The property was very easy to find, directions were easy. The property was very nice, very quaint, cozy and my daughters and I loved it. Very close to the main part of town. Waco is very nice.

Our experience with this property and owner was fabulous from beginning to end. I have absolutely nothing negative to say, the house is beautiful, exactly as advertised. FABULOUS!

Super adorable, comfy furniture, clean and hope to stay again

The Cottage was wonderful - the attention to detail was amazing - From the pastries to the fluffy towels and all the cozy decor. It was easy to find and navigate through town to all the places we wanted to visit and was a beautiful rest at the end of the day.

Great home, very clean and spacious. Only complaint is no Tv for watching sports or news. I would definitely rent again. We were there for Baylor Homecoming. Fun weekend !

This was the perfect rental for a very fair price per night. It was so clean and plenty of room. The little extras were a treat! Fresh muffins and chilled water and sparkling water. Coffee too!!! Thanks for a great place to stay!!! Highly recommended!!!

Everything was absolutely as advertised. Each of us loved having her own spacious bedroom, and the group spaces we’re comfortable and generous, yet cozy. Oh! The yummy pastries were a heartwarming and delicious touch. Returning to this perfect gathering place is definitely on the “must” list! Thank you for making our special time together even more so.

This property was spacious enough for all of us and has three bathrooms. The living room is large and comfortable with a full kitchen. The location is a bit of a drive from the Baylor University campus and a short distance from restaurants and shopping. Overall, good stay for larger parties.

We loved the welcoming aspect of this house! They even had a cake for us! My two year old was so happy! Great home and we all enjoyed!

The Sweet, sweet Mavie House was GREAT! Communication was perfect! Comfortable beds and pillows, stocked bathrooms! The kitchen was clean and stocked with enough coffee cups for the number of people it could sleep!! Beautiful decor and enough seating for us all. The rugs in the living room and under the kitchen table were adorable, but, very shaggy and hard to vacuum, therefore, our barefeet found some "treasures" while playing games and/or just hanging out. The location was the BEST! Never more than 4 or 5 miles from all the places you want to visit in Waco. The neighborhood didn't seem the greatest for those wanting to go on a run or walk in the AM alone. Overall experience was 5+++++! Thank you Phylisia!
