Our family vacation was great. Plenty of room for all 7 of us. Fantastic view. Plenty of pool space and easy access to the beach. My only recommendation would be is to make sure your car is locked when in the garage. We had a few things stolen out of ours. The entry gate was left open the entire time as well. Other than that the place itself was great. Walking distance from the pier, shops, restaurants, and more!

The freezer would not keep food frozen The TV’ s didn’t have remotes But otherwise a great place to stay

We were looking for affordable accommodations on the beach for our 2-day conference, and this was the perfect place. The view was exactly what we hoped, and more. we watched beautiful sunrises both mornings. There are lots of conveniences to walk to nearby. Will definitely stay here again!

This was our third time staying at Camelot. The building is within walking distance to a ton of shopping and restaurants, and the staff is helpful and friendly. We’ll definitely be back.

It was in a great location. Walking distance to many things. The room itself was as pictured. Wish they had a spot to store luggage in lobby just due to flight times. In the room not much for actual cooking, we had to go buy a skillet. Other than that it was a good experience and plan to return.

Great central location. The condo was clean and beds were comfortable albeit a little firm. All kitchen amenities and washer/dryer worked great. The little basket of essentials (dish soap, detergent, dishwasher pod) was nice. Balcony view was amazing, you can see all of Myrtle Beach and clear down to Surfiside! The pools/hot tubs/lazy river were great and kept clean. Easy access to the beach. The attached parking garage fit our large SUV with no difficulty. The option to rent movies for free in the lobby was a nice perk. The complex itself was a bit dated and there were a few cosmetic things & little touches (worn areas of paint, some basic cleaning supplies like a broom or swiffer because we ended up going out and buying one, coffee pot filters) in the condo that would’ve upped my review to 5 star but overall was a great stay and I would stay here again!

The view was amazing and the beds were really comfy. The only negative was you could hear the elevator from the 3rd bedroom which interrupted sleep. The pools could have been a little clearer. Beach was great.

This was our second year staying in #1601, and we are hoping for a third! The condo is clean and well taken care of. A loveseat, that had matched the sofa, was replaced this year with two swivel chairs (which worked out better for our group). Being on an upper floor and an end unit, the condo is quiet and the views are spectacular (bring binoculars)! Looking forward to getting #1601 again next year!

Overall, a great spot. Right next downtown and the view from the room is amazing! They do need to change the dunkin doughnuts attached to it though. It's closed down permanently. But within walking distance to Starbucks!

This was perfect for us. Right in the beach and also had a pool, because the kids always want some pool action too. I would definitely recommend and would definitely return to this condo.

The unit itself had a great view, was roomy ans updated and clean. Much of the clientele was loud, smoking weed all around and filling the hot tubs and pools in large groups. Also, no bathroom in lobby or pool areas.

We’ve stayed at Camelot by the Sea 4 years in a row now and always enjoy the beautiful ocean view each room offers! Room 1601 was our favorite of all time! It was clean and the decor suited our taste perfectly! Our daughter loves the pool and lazy river!

My clients loved this location and advised that it was very much like home and are looking to book again very soon.

We loved our time here! My husband just came home from serving overseas for a year and we were able to get some much needed family time in. Plenty of spaceman the unit, everything we needed to cook our meals and an excellent view of the ocean. We loved the winterized pool, lazy river, and jacuzzi in the hotel. We were very satisfied with our stay!

We checked in Thursday and were impressed with the unit and the property. However that changed quickly Friday evening when our unit began to smelled like an ashtray. The odor of marijuana was so strong at times that we had to open all the doors to air it out. The problem was that it didn’t get much over 30 degrees the entire weekend and the stoners seemed to light up constantly during waking hours and late into the night. These were supposed to be non-smoking units. I have asthma and severe allergies so I was miserable the entire time we were in the room our last few nights. This was supposed to be a trip where we spent most of our time in the room hanging out with our friends. However, because of the heavy pot use next door, it was unbearable for us most of the time. We complained to the property management a few times when the smell was the most intolerable, but we never saw anyone come up to check into it. We contacted the off-site owner, but there wasn’t much they could do. It’s just frustrating that we couldn’t enjoy the room the majority of our visit. I’ve since seen other reviews that complain about similar issues with the no smoking policies not being enforced. I suspect the ventilation and thin walls play a roll in the severity of the smoke/smell in our unit. What should have been a wonderful trip ended up with an urgent care visit for for an asthma flare and the rest of our group praying they aren’t drug tested any time soon.

I loved staying in room 1601. Beautiful views from every window. I would’ve given 5 stars however, my only disappointment was the inability to shower in the main bathroom.

The room had an excellent view of the ocean. It was very clean and beautiful and the beds were so comfortable. I will try to book this room every chance I get.

The property location was excellent. The beds are very comfortable. The only complaint I have is dust behind the bed and end tables. The floors were not super clean but we wore our flip flops. Staff is very nice.

Only the view was good, the place was dirty and very rundown and bugs.

However, the room was clean, the view was amazing, and the location was away from most foot traffic. The hot water sometimes took a VERY long time (about 5-10 minutes!) to come through, which was a little annoying, but the water pressure was fabulous!! The beds were a little noisy whenever you changed positions, but otherwise, were relatively comfortable. There is much to do & see, eat & shop within walking distance, and so much more by vehicle in under 30 minutes by vehicle. We are planning to return next year, and hopefully, will be able to stay here again.
