We really enjoyed our stay at The Giving House! Everything was exactly as pictured. The home was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. There was plenty of room for us to spread out, and room to spend time together. The neighborhood was quiet, and it was right down the road from our daughter’s house! The owners were responsive as well. We spent a lot of time playing ping pong too! We will definitely stay again during our next visit to Lynchburg!

The property is so nice. We had a great stay. Close to everything that we were planning on doing. Very very spacious I read in the study and the kids had TV on in the living room. What was really great was the basketball and ping pong table in the basement the kids loved that. Definitely will stay there again. At night we liked being on the deck and watching the deer in the backyard. Thanks for everything Jon

My wife & I stayed here while we were exploring Lynchburg and it was minutes away from some of the popular sites, restaurants, grocery stores, and walking trails. The house was quiet with a nice sized backyard that was perfect for unwinding. We sat on the back balcony while planning for the next day & listening to the water & wildlife. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to the area.

Great home and location in Lynchburg. Clean, beautifully decorated and welcoming. Loved the huge kitchen and having 2 bedrooms downstairs. Deck is great for morning coffee-neighborhood is quiet. Will definitely stay again next year.

Visiting Lynchburg and wanted a place which gave our family a space to be comfortable. This place met that expectation and then some. Really enjoyed sitting on the back deck and watching the wildlife as well as hanging out in the basement playing games. Easy check in and check out process. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

We were so happy with this property. It was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was equipped with all we needed including a Keurig for coffee! It does say that it sleeps 8 but the futon in one of the rooms truly sleeps one adult comfortably so we did have to use an air mattress. Maybe having an air mattress in hand would be a nice thing to add to the property because with the two kings and queen and futon it sleeps more like 7 as it is. We made it work though! It does have a sofa (not sleeper) if someone wanted to try and sleep on that. It has a fun rec area in the basement as well! Bathrooms were very nice and accommodating as well! We loved our stay and would highly recommend this home for your stay!

I would’ve easily given this rental property 5 stars, but the upstairs bathroom was missing a shower liner which we purchased and installed. The kitchen sink had a leak that needed fixed and clearly had existed well before our visit.

The home was very clean, updated, and had a good location! Throughout our stay, we were able to message Amy, the host, and not only receive quick responses, but helpful ones as well. The photos listed do not do this home justice as it is even better in person! Would definitely rent here again.

I rented this property with 7 people. It was very spacious and very comfortable and also very clean. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the neighbors are very friendly. We wouldn't have changed but 1 thing about our rental. Everything was amazing, comfy beds, quiet neighborhood. The only complaint we had was the sitting areas, living room furniture was hkrribky uncomfortable. Pretty, but not comfy at all. And we think for being there 5 days we wish we had more towels and wash rags. Didn't want to do laundry. Otherwise we loved our stay!

Property was clean and well supplied and located in a quiet neighborhood close to shops and restaurants. Had a wonderful weekend celebrating our son's graduation and wedding weekend. Our hostess was so kind and even left a graduation gift for our son. Peaceful home that is also supporting worthy causes.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Giving House in Lynchburg. Check in was easy and the house was very clean and this was a much better option than a hotel . It had everything we needed and was close to the colleges we were visiting . The price was more than fair and we really liked that some of the proceeds went to charity . I would highly recommend the Giving House to anyone looking for a vacation rental in Lynchburg .

I visited Lynchburg with my teen daughter and her best friend and mother. This property was perfect for the four of us. Super cute and plenty of photo opportunities for the girls insta-stories, plenty of space, clean and comfortable. Centrally located to Liberty University , downtown Lynchburg, and local restaurants. We enjoyed our stay here!

Accommodations were very accurate. Home was clean and updated. Beds were comfortable and sheets soft and clean. Deck was a nice place to listen to the creek and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. Quiet neighborhood and close to downtown with lots of choices for dining.

We stayed at "the giving house" while in Lynchburg visiting granddaughters who attend Liberty University. It is a very quiet neighborhood and close to the campus. There were some issues with a slow draining sink in the upstairs and a drain that did not work properly in the downstaiis bathroom, but these not major issues. I would recommend "the giving house" for those who like a quiet retreat while visiting family at the University.
