The centrality of the hotel is excellent.

The noise outside my room was terrible! I'm pretty sure it was the nearby Wetherspoons pub,recycling their bottles! I did mention this upon check out,and if I revisit will aim to have a room away from the pub!

Bed was quite hard and thin quilt. Loved the toilet - it is right next to the door so you need to be a contortionist to get toilet role... put the spare role on the outside of the toilet door handle - you can't close the door because your legs block it. Cleaning your teeth? Washing your hands after your ablutions... good luck emptying the sink! I looked in the evening, looked again in the morning - nope - calling Merlin! New batteries in the TV control might help it switch on - use the manual controls on r/h side of the panel. Overall, very expensive for what it offers.

We are regular visitors to the Ibis as we have relatives nearby. It suits us very well as it offers a no frills, comfortable stay in a very convenient central location with helpful & friendly staff.

The location was good and so were the staff. The room was clean.

Sound proofing was poor. No drop off area designated for hotel apart from very small car park opposite. Cheap appearance of room, clothes hanging facilities. Mould around window. Marks on bed linen. Limited bathroom space for toiletries. Litter outside hotel.
