Entire town house Fridge with a smaller freezer drawer The reading chair The bathroom had some lovely tiling

Bad was on the smaller side but was still adequate for a 6 foot 2 and 5 foot couple

Very quiet location. Convenient for local shops, and places to eat and drink. 7--minute walk to the train station.

Just the mini ironing board!

Clean flat with good facilities, close to the train and to restaurants. Owner was responsive to my questions.

Would have liked a washing machine. The bed was only a double.

I had a great stay at Downshire Haven, the property was bigger than I expected (it was really nice having 2 floors). Great location near the station and the high street. There were plenty of towels, blankets, all the kitchen essentials so self catering was very easy. I was staying in Holywood for a 10 day yoga course and it was perfect for what I needed, thank you!

Would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Belfast! Excellent flat which exceeded my expectations. Everything needed is there. Holywood is a beautiful area and very close to city. Only 1 stop from Belfast city airport and a short walk. Easy also to get into the city by train (only 3 stops). Will definately be back as we just loved it!

Downshire Haven is a lovely little house in a great location. Holywood is a lovely district with plenty of facilities nearby and great for traveling the short distance to central Belfast by train. The house is furnished to a really high standard and most of the fixtures are high end. Even though the house is so close to the centre of Holywood, it's very quiet so we slept well, a very comfortable place to stay for a few days.

The provided pillows were highly perfumed (lavender I think) and were a bit over-powering for us. So much so we banished them to the back yard and bought a cheap pair of pillows from the local Tesco Extra! Just our personal preference really.

The house was clean and tidy the host had put the essential s in for us . Lounge comfortable with kitchen area fridge kettle microwave toaster . Bathroom upstairs with great shower plenty of shampoo etc . Hollywood is lovely however would not return to Downshire haven

On the advert it says it had outdoor space this area was covered in next to outdoor bins . Could not sit out there dark dirty and drab . The main thing was the bed says it's for 2 people this turned out to be a small double ( 4 ft ) . No window ventilation in bedroom or lounge only hopper windows to open were on the landing and bathroom From a Health and Safety issue no upstairs exit if fire on lower floor .

Location to Holywood High Street and coziness of the house for the two of us
