Probably the best you can get in Puerto for this price. Beach is around 20-25 minutes walking from hotel.

Nothing. Well, in case you don't know, rooms are not equipped with AC. But this was actually already known, since the hotel specifies this in the booking portal.

Really friendly staff. Spacious rooms. They clean it every day. Again, really kind staff. They let me check out late so I could shower after my surf class and before my long bus ride. It was raining when I was leaving, so somebody called me a taxi. But there weren't any available, so the hotel owner came and picked me up and dropped me off to the bus station. So kind.

It's in a quiet residential area, which is pleasant and seems very safe. The only problem is that there aren't many people out after dark and some of the streets don't have lights. I felt safe walking around with my boyfriend, but I'm not sure if I would have walked around after dark by myself. But maybe that says more about me

Hotel Palmarito is a gem in Puerto Escondido. The hosts are fantastic and very personable. I would definitely stay there again!

Lovely family running the hotel and for me was in a good location within walking distance of beaches and downtown/supermarket etc.

The room was simple but clean and efficient, and staff was very nice. The position isn’t the best in Puerto Escondido but the facilities were good.

The Wi-Fi does not work, there is no air conditioning, the property is a very far walk from the beaches people actually use and the restaurants as well. The area it is located in also isn’t lit up at night as it is outside of the main tourist area so it is difficult to navigate without a torch. The rooms themselves are surrounded by windows and the curtains don’t stretch all the way across so there is absolutely no privacy, especially around checkout time as the maids loiter outside the rooms to try and encourage you to leave faster. You would be much better off in a hotel near Zicatela where everything is located.

Clean, spacious, nice bathroom with hot water, fan on the ceiling. Location not perfect but okay. 15 minutes walk from ADO and from a nice beach and all the restaurants. Downtown is 5-10 minutes walk. Good value for your money.

Everything was fine, but would not stay here for more than 1-2 days because of missing a common area to hang out during a longer stay.

If your room is at the ground floor you will have few privacy. The curtains are very thin and from outside you can see through them, and also they don't cover properly the window
